Places of Power: Well of Souls
🕑 Added 2020-01-30 20:09:14 +0000 UTCNext up in the OpenForge "Places of Power" series, we bring you the Well of Souls! Places of Power is a series Evan is doing to create LARGE, central set-pieces for RPG or skirmish/war games.
The Well of Souls is an elvish structure built over the top of a deep, cylindrical chasm extending down into the earth. Though it's thousands of years old, the stone has withstood time and the elements, and has barely a scratch on it - while the rock it is built upon slowly cracks and erodes.
A bridge an etched platform extend over the well, and legend says that the souls of thousans of dead elves well in a rift deep within the chasm.
This piece prints supportless, of course. The bridge is it's own piece, and the main well prints in 2 split pieces that glue together easily. They are tall but should fit on most FDM print beds. A larger full piece is included for those with print beds bigger than 200x200mm.

Prints Charming
I love how playable this is! This could inspire a whole scenario and has great implications for cover, falling hazards, etc. Plus it's just begging for a tealight dropped down the middle.

My man! Thank you.

I'll ask evan if he can do a split there

sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I passed that request on to Evan and he's gonna get that split. I just forgot to reply after I passed the request in to him

Any chance of getting a version that's split vertically (separate top spires)? Unfortunately this is ~5mm too tall to print on my printer as-is.

Love this thing but could we get a version with removable statues? I'd love to have those statues as accompanying minis!
