Mastered Oozaru/Alpha Form Gohan and Celipa [Sketch]
🕑 Added 2021-09-24 14:23:31 +0000 UTCTo all those wondering what other forms Gohan and Celipa achieve in Golden Age around the start of the Dragonball Super period..... THIS is it. MY variation of Super Saiyan 4 or, in simple terms, the canon Super Saiyan 4 in my Golden Age timeline (that isn't actually Super Saiyan 4).
While Gohan's Nova Saiyan form taps into the full, hidden power dwelling inside of him for a brief burst of indominable, rage-fueled power, it's this particular form that Gohan achieves that allows him to compete evenly alongside the Super Saiyan God transformations that Vegeta acquires when training with Beerus and Whis.
What Gohan and Celipa assume here is what you would consider the next step in the evolutionary process of the Saiyans- as well as the next evolutionary stage of their Super Saiyan forms. It's a state that only Yamoshi, his siblings, and several other Saiyans have achieved in the past.
The Alpha Form
Also known as the Mastered Oozaru, Mastered Great Ape, Alpha State, or Perfect Oozaru form, it's a state that a Saiyan can achieve when said Saiyan manages to gain full control of their primal Saiyan instincts exhibited by the Oozaru transformation after direct exposure to moonlight. Unlike Broly's Wrath Saiyan form- which allows the Saiyan's inherit rage and primal instincts to explode out of control- by condensing all of the unbridled power and primal rage of the Oozaru into a mental and spiritual seal, the Saiyan reaches a state of pure enlightenment, where they not only break the seal on the Saiyan's full power after drawing on the cosmic energy of the moon, but also gain full control over their instincts and cognitive functions.
This form represents the full extent of a Saiyan's fundamental potential- showing complete mastery of the basics of a Saiyan.
Unlike GT's Super Saiyan 4, while the Alpha Form looks identical, there are a few key differences between the two forms. The first is that the Saiyans double in height and size, and their muscles expand quite prominently- similar to the Ultra Super Saiyan form Vegeta uses. When transformed, Gohan's height easily towers over Piccolo and Cell.
Not only does fur also cover a majority of their bodies, but instead of being red, the fur that covers them is platinum/silver in colour (a visual representation of the superior state that this form is compared to the Super Saiyan form). Their normal hair also lengthens to back height, and retains the same colour (due to this being an evolution of the Saiyan base form, NOT a Super Saiyan form).
Furthermore, due to mastering ALL of the fundamental instincts and rage of the Oozaru, the power the users tap into is ENORMOUS. Just like Broly's Wrath Form, in this form alone, without even transforming into a Super Saiyan in this state, both Gohan and Celipa are on par with the Super Saiyan God forms.
When they stack Super Saiyan on top of this, the form's strength increases exponentially, to the point it can match the higher forms of Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken easily. In fact, after transforming further with increased training, Gohan's power is equal to Jiren's, perhaps even more so.

Yes. He learns to get his tail back with Fashas help.
Yeah. Like, they transform to SSJ4 and Gokus clothes are magically fitted, even after they were destroyed when he was in his Golden Oozaru form. It's what I never understood with that form. This is why Gohan opts to change to more elastic clothing when he transformed into this for the first time, because his old clothes disintegrated.

Dang I wished Super Saiyan 4 looked like this, it always bugged me how magical clothes came out of nowhere. Super Sayain 4 Goku with the bottom half of his Gi fanart always looked sick. Never knew why Toei ever changed that.

Makes sense. Goku went from a kid to taller than his normal self as a SSJ4. And Gohan's Return to Monke mode is built different 😂

I can see Fasha Transforming into Her Giant Monkey…..Form, but Gohan’s tail was removed by Piccolo how does he Transform into the Mighty OOZARU, does he get it back with Fasha’s help?
More like they rampaged a couple times until they fully mastered it. They went from Oozaru to this form after managing it. Then after assuming these forms they had fun. Yes. :)

What was their first time transforming like? Did they lose all sense of intelligence and revert back to a momentary lapse of Primal conduct?
That's the point. THIS is a Saiyan's full potential when they evolve into the next stage.

That's exactly what I was trying to achieve. Gohan and Celipa get JACKED in this form. No joke. Though you can't tell, Celipa is the same height as Piccolo here.

Ah yes, the Saiyans achieve enlightenment with the power of Super Monkey Dong/Muff. 😂 On a serious note, it's always nice to see SSJ4, it is my favorite Saiyan form after all. In GT, Goku had his moments where SSJ4 made him an absolute badass and savage AF.
