Having our first baby

I am actually a father now! My wife just gave a baby girl this afternoon. And she is a chubby little angel! Sorry if I will not post an image of her, but she is a high-pitched voiced angel (her cries echoes the whole room).
I could be happier if we are now resting in our home after the labour but no. Bad decision choices lead us to the worst experience I ever had in a hospital. And we had to take it all its consequences
***I hope it is okay to all of you, but I am ranting what I am experiencing right now. Nope, I don't ask you anything but just the patience in reading my rant and my realization on my mistakes leading to this.

I know this is kinda rude, but I want you all see what I am experiencing now. Welcome to the public hospital in the Philippines, where you as a watcher of the patient is sleeping comfy in a decent bunk and nurses are accomodating, lol! Just trolling! The reality is pretty sad. And the nurses are rude, I say sadist in attitude. They care less and is angry a lot.
And here I thought we are in the pandemic but there is no social distancing anymore. Just below this floor, outside the building, are these makeshift rooms for Covid patients. Funny how close the proximitely of these shelters to the hospital's birthing area and baby rooms.
And for those who just delivered their babies, these is the accomodating rooms for you. Noisy, cramped, two babies share each bed, you are restless with all the baby crying orchstra playing in the background. And my wife of all things will be here till Monday because the public hospital wants to make sure we paid the bills by having us availed the government sponsored health program, which by then, closed by Saturday and Sunday. Not even me a government affiliated working personnel can make an easy pass, we need to wait to file up till Monday, or we can pay the hospital bills to exit out of this hellish place easily, which we did not prepare much as to save for this. We actually planned the another approach though, to have my wife do her labour to a health center with lesser charge and fast system to be released after birth but due them accidentally admitting a Covid positive pregnant they quarantined their facility for a week.
I know I should have choosen to a private hospital but bad decisions are made along the way and we did not saved money nor appoint a private doctor when we had the chance before. I think despite the big expenses in the private hospital, I can afford it if we really planned it carefully. We simply did not choose this option and look where we landed. Proud having a baby, but bad experiences ruined the thrill.
We are having an all night no sleep now till morning. I can then go home to relax, as my other relative will took over to care my wife, but my wife will take little sleep in as my baby will cry occasionally cutting her rest.
Been in a hectic aituation, but I hope to post something new soon. Till the next post guys!

Congrats, bud! =D It's a lotta things to consider with this sorta thing and we can't be expected to always make the best calls on situations we ain't got all the info on every time. But, we do our best and move forwards with the people we care 'bout. All that said, don'tcha worry none 'bout the rant nor the hiatus of content. Ya got much goin' on and that too is important to ya.
