🕑 Added 2024-11-08 11:00:14 +0000 UTCA nice little boppy bop for no reason at all because I know every country, especially the good ole' USA, had a nice calm, nothing happening week. Now to take a sip of water and look at the news I missed this week--
Seriously, I'm sorry US of A. Even though she wasn't good, I was rooting for her with fingers and toes crossed. Sigh. As I was telling my friends in the US this week, I'm a realist but I'm also an optimist and I truly believe that there is a breaking point for society and then things have to get better. People won't stand for it and we have an entire history of this planet that shows that. IN the meantime, while we get through this, remember you're worthy, you're important, and you'll make it.
So, what are you all doing this weekend, and what one thing will you do this weekend for self-love/comfort? I know come Monday you can come back here and I'll give you a good time slides down bar and winks in your direction

As a USAmerican I appreciate your condolences. I'm fortunate enough to live in a blue state, but my heart is breaking for my country. We are in for some very hard times. The past week has had me ping-ponging back and forth through the stages of grief, so this weekend I'm focusing on a deep clean of my apartment. It's my tried and true method for channeling stressful energy, and helping me feel better even when things are tough. Wishing all y'all the best π

The sympathy is much appreciated. At least this has been a kick in the ass for me to finally stop procrastinating on estate planning, bc wellβ¦ who knows what might happen. I want to be as prepared as possible to do whatever needs to be done, it you get me. As for this weekend, my brotherβs gonna help me replace my brake pads, then Iβm gonna take advantage of having the house to myself. Might catch up on some of these audio files to destress and be as loud as I want, hehe. And maybe finally watch The Exorcist for the first time, as I just finished reading the book last week!
