About Incubus Realms' update (and the lack of new posts)

I take a moment in my busy rush to keep you posted on a few things.
I don't think it's fair to keep you in the dark, however a lot of my work goes into aspects of the game that are... well, problematic to share with you.
I'm currently hard at work on the code, the UX (basically the layout of the interface), the GUI (the graphical side of the interface, how it looks) and last but certainly not least, the game design (what happens if, when, where, who...). Not to mention all the placeholder assets I create on the fly which are numerous sketches to give you a feel of what's going on.
Why is this problematic to share ? Because most of it is like a game soluce, in other words spoilers on the entire game. I know we've been through this during the last update, but back then it was mostly upgrading the game engine (What you're capable to do with a game's building blocks).
Long story short, I need a bit more patience, I know I ask a lot but for once I would really like to surprise you with an amazing update. I said to a few people that the next update would come before the end of June, which was an optimistic deadline considering the ambitious amount of new ground to explore. The game is about to become 10 times bigger than it used to be.
A quick note about the goodies : I don't like to pity people with my finances, but it's safe to say that I cannot live off your Patreon pledges alone anymore, yet. My husband used to provide a safety net for me but now he needs me to be that net while he looks for a job. I've put in place a system of sponsorship to boost the game but they naturally take a tremendous amount of time to be made. I needed something more of a passive income. So I took a week to create a few goodies (toy, figurine, shirts). It's on https://ghuraok.be/online-shop for anyone who's interested.
I'm setting my new and last deadline to the 10th of July, until then I will be working exclusively on Incubus Realms. I cannot stress enough how excited I'm am to share it. But it's not a game yet, it's a lot of notes and drawings, so please bear with me <3
If you still want the updates, I post things on the discord every now and then, which I don't necessarily post on the Patreon because they don't really belong in a post of their own.
Please be excited and harass me to work faster.

Hiya Stefen, I hope never to disappoint you with the transparency I pride myself with. Admittedly I'm a bit late (very) on my monthly reports, mainly due to the crunch I'm undergoing with IR, but perhaps also because I keep patrons up to date weekly if not daily on the dedicated discord server and often forget that not everyone is on it. I usually try to keep the Patreon page itself relatively clean and only post when I have significant updates to show. I appreciate greatly your interest into the figurines and I'm glad the Rat king has demand ! The next in line is Rohan but I'll make sure to push Rodolphe right after, sculpting is quite new for me but I'm getting faster at it so perhaps the wait will become shorter. (I still have to learn rigging... urgh) Thank you for your comment and I'll make sure to work hard. PS: I'm sorry I'm late on the update again D: I wanted to say the 15th of July but I panicked at the idea so I said the 10th and now I realise that it's just too much work. I'll post something about it in a moment x

One thing I like and hopefully continue to stay as such is the transparency of what is going on as the one person who is making this all come to life really. As a dev (and a sexy one as well who is making a sexy game that is IMO FAR more interesting then just humans and humans) who is making these moves , I think I can find a way to pitch In some more money. And can try to purchase Guardian or when you release Rat king (which in my case Iām more....magnetized to Rudolphe more^^) to assist in solving the $$$ problem :). However that will be after I cut some creators to make sure Iām not a spending hoe š¤·š¾āāļøš¤·š¾āāļøš¤·š¾āāļø

Thank you that is so reassuring for me !! I'm full force on the game, that's for sure. I have a looooooooot of plans for it. The lore allows for 5+ more dungeons and a city hub. The scope of the project is entirely dependant of the amount of support and success it gets. I fixed the link, thank you for noticing <3 I'll put even harder work ! Just you wait !

Thank you for the update! I think I will actually pledge more now as I wasnt sure whether the game was still the main project (I am pretty bad at following updates), but with this re-assurance I think I can bump my tier up a notch :) PS: The hyperlink for the shop cuts off at "https://ghuraok.be/online-", which I am sure is not an issue for most folks who will manually copy -paste it, but I though I will flag it here anyway as it would suck if it sank some potential sales. Thanks for putting in all the hard work!
