Life Update: "Thank You Greatly"
🕑 Added 2024-11-05 18:00:15 +0000 UTCI bought a car, to put it bluntly! I was more or less persuaded into scrapping my first car back in May. It wouldn't start, it was taking up space, and due to health reasons, I wasn't really leaving the house.
But thanks to all of you.. sincerely, thank you, I was able to come up with enough spare to buy the same make as my old one. :') Except this one's blue! I can't.. seriously tell you how much I appreciate all of you.
I have a suspicion that at least one person might look at this and say, "Nightly.. Why that car? Why a jeep?"
WELL.. as far as I know I will coin the term that I am 'car blind.' I cannot identify cars nowadays for the life of me unless they are a unique enough model and color. Everything is white, grey or black now and all sleek. I don't want to leave somewhere and come back not knowing where my car is! A mile away you can point at that and say, "There it is." lol Also it's roomy and cozy, okay?

With what our mechanic said, that's more than likely! He's never really been impressed with a lot of cars and this one he was! It belonged to a Vietnam Airforce veteran and had a lot of brand new replacements in it. For a 20 year old car, it's amazing. :)

Happy for you Nightly 😍 A reliable comfy vehicle is so much more than a way to get from place to place. None of us want or need the additional stress that goes along with crossing our fingers each time we get into our car. Maybe you can even do those longer trips to visit your family 😊😅😍

Absolutely yeah. T_T To make things worse, if you hit lock on mine while it's already locked, it HONKS, which is useful in terms of narrowing down location but also MORTIFYING.

It is truly the worst. The only way I can tell if it's my mom pulling up the way is if I see a little pink alien plush I gave her in her windshield or her mean-mugging me lol

I have the same problem with cars. I am DETERMINED to have my car painted just so I can find it in a parking lot. I have such a generic silver crossover that it is physically identical to approximately 20% of cars in a lot. :| I can only figure mine out by the out of state license plate...

The car blindness is too real, my parents bought new vehicles after almost 10 years of their previous vehicles and whenever I pull up to their house, I think they have visitors. It’s been 6 months and I see them once a week 😅

Well we are all in the same boat with being car blind😄 My birthday is today and my family got me a new car, old one got busted in a crash couple of days ago. 18 year old me was not a good driver. But 19 year old me will probably do better with the new one.😅
