Yeah, that's why I've always wondered why they specifically made him be from NYC. We would have all just assumed he was English. *shrug* Then there's the confusion on the Marvel wikia, where it says that he was born and raised in Brooklyn, but later says he's a former citizen of the UK, but now has become a naturalized US citizen. (both with "citation needed", of course). Both of these despite the fact that the only actual in-comic info I'm aware of says he was born in the Bronx. Dammit, if I can't trust the internet, who *can* I trust?

That's interesting. I have no idea. But with a name like Jarvis, I think you're just born with an english accent, haha!

So, your Jarvis impression made me curious about something. Jarvis was born in the Bronx (cf. Avengers 127, although marvel.wikia.com claims Brooklyn with a "citation needed"). So... has it ever been established that he *does* have an English accent?
