PLEASE READ: Patreon Update
🕑 Added 2024-08-05 01:00:36 +0000 UTCHowdy all! I decided to finally officially flag my patreon page as 18+ Mature. What does this mean for you guys? Hooooonestly not much, haha. I’m not suddenly deciding to draw furry porn, I’ve just spent waaaaay too long fretting over whether my content warrants a mature label. Patreon says that all sexually explicit content/nudity must be flagged as mature, but I don’t really draw that stuff. At the same time, my regular content does touch upon stuff like drug use, religious trauma, fetishization, the occasional (fully clothed) bit of fan service…and I’m tired of wondering “oh god is this too much for a sfw patreon??” every other time I post. Adult content is subjective and kinda hard for me to always determine, tbh, but I figure it’s just better to err on the side of caution. While my page is officially marked 18+, I’d say the content is really gonna be more like…..PG-14. Nothing harder than say, The Simpsons.
To answer some quick questions:
-I will not be changing my prices/payment model/tiers. I like my current “pay-what-you-want” model. :3
-I will not be drawing porn, or anything more sexually explicit than my current style of content. You’ll see references to sex in a story, or the implication that two characters are bang buddies, or a character making big doki doki eyes 😳 at another character in a fanservicey pose, but explicit sexual content just isn’t something I’m all that interested in.
-I might draw nudity, maybe? Maybe. Pose studies, stuff like that. Not too far off my current stuff, I love drawing bodies~
-I will still drop content warnings for anything particularly triggering. Such as my last comic upload.

Thank you! 💖 I'm still a liiitle anxious about it but it's nice to know I can, in theory, draw whatever I want without worrying about whether it's too much for patreon. I hadn’t realized how much I'd only been scratching at the surface of certain characters and storylines because I could only really imply/joke about/reference adult themes without digging into them too deep. Which just makes stuff seem flat. As I was sketching out story stuff with the Meadowsweets I was hitting a wall, knowing that I couldn't REALLY explore Toffee's eventual self-destructive spiral and descent into binge-drinking. Many of my characters are also sexually active, and it's a key part of their identity and factors into their friendships and romances. It's gonna be nice to finally tell the stories I wanna tell without wincing and watering it down.

I really did mean it when I said I wasn't gonna draw anything TOO risqué, but I can feel it now coursing through my veins.....the freedom to draw any character I want, full frontal tiddies out....no more need to water down bad language and sanitize innuendo...truly I must use this new power for good and not evil....*drawing hand twitching* G-GOOD AND NOT EVIL

I've been following you since I came across your DeviantArt back in 2018, I think I found your Luna headcannon in my explorer page (boy do I LOVE reading all the ideas and worlds you've created) so I just HAD to make a DA account to follow the story/stories you make and I'm so glad to be here to watch all these complex characters and their personalities grow/change when you continue to go through their universe! I keep going back to your DA and re-reading all the illustrations with word-walls attached to them because I find it so captivating, let alone the beautiful art drawn, you definitely inspired me back then and you continue to do so now! Every time a new post drops I'm LUNGING towards my phone to read it over and over again when I have time, I love looking at the art and all the characters designs and facial expressions, it really makes me want to do my own little world! I'm sorry if I don't comment on everything or anything at all; BUT LET ME TELL YOU I'M LIVING FOR EVERY POST Love all you do for us Lop! Unrelated question though! Would it be possible to see some of the art way-back then? (I think the one I'm thinking of is twilights parents and their headcannons) as it seems to be locked to a higher tier, which I understand if you'd like to keep those locked but I've been DYING to read them but I haven't had the extra cash to throw at a higher tiered role to read them. However I just moved into my new place and starting with NO furniture and lots of unexpected expenses over the past 2 years, otherwise I'd def boost up my role B) (Edit: I may have asked this before so big apologies if you've already taken the time to answer)

Yeahhh not much will change. I tried to doodle a naked Perry just for fun and he came out looking like his usual goober self, just with his stupid lil booty out on display. I just don't think I have it in me to be a serious porn artist. XD

And it's been an absolute pleasure reading your comments all these years! <3 And yeah, I've been wanting to change to mature for a long time, I just worried it would create some big annoying disruption for my patrons. But it ended up being pretty simple. Now I don't have to reread patreon's content policy a bajillion times before posting, and I don't have to hold back so much with the jokes and whatnot. My stuff largely won't change, but I might maybe occasionally draw something a tiny bit saucier than my old stuff. Maybe. We'll see!
