Honestly i turn my brain off when i watch HB im here for the toxic yaoi and fanficcy storyline. But. I will die on the hill that Octavia and Stella should have their personalities swapped. Would have added some real conflict for Stolas to cheat on a sad depressed wife and also would make more sense for a prissy kinda stupid mean girl daughter to lash out at her dad so much. Also would provide some contrast to her and Loona good god. But HB def feels like a fanfic and I have to respect that, it’s like a hallmark movie/telenovela for maladjusted gay people

Oh yeah, Stella. I have trouble accepting her as a "villain" not just because she has a killer design and VA, but also cuz her character writing is shallow as a kiddie pool. Her entire role in the story is to be an obstacle for Stolas/Blitz, she's afforded zero depth or nuance beyond "mean bitch". It feels unfair, like why are the writers afraid to make her more complex? I don't think she's ever even had a conversation with Octavia. Imo, Andrealphus is an entirelyyyy superfluous character that should've been replaced with Stella. If you wanna make her an-evil-for-the -sake-of-being-evil disney villain, then go all out! Give her a campy villain song to sing! Have her be the one planning all the evil schemes! Why wouldn't she want Stola's power and title for herself? As is she's completely underwritten and it just makes me feel bad for her. Like I'd be a mean bitch too if I was arranged to marry/birth an heir for an uninterested gay man. Stella has straight up had no autonomy over her life since childhood, and then her husband cheats on her. So idc, nothing wrong with a little attempted murder on her end

Ohhh you have the *sweet yet confuse feelings* for Stella too?! Gracias Jesus! I thought I was the only one, and even I have them for Velvet and Valentino from HazbinHotel... Don't get me wrong, they are HORRIBLE and I laugh like a maniac when they don't get their way and karma hit me, BUT! God their designs are soooo pretty! Also I really miss when characters are really bad people just because they feel like it and it's fun for them? You know maybe there's some backstory explaining the why they are like that maybe not, maybe it just their environment, but they are soooo fun evil assholes, so full of pride and ego that I can't help to feel to feel entertaining when they are in screen plus rolling my eyes cuz they swear they are hot shit. And their voices?! I love the VAs works with those characters, it's soooo good.

Oh 100%! I getcha totally on drawing it to explore character interaction and also to see/feel what best suits each character (be it soft nsfw, sexual nsfw, kinks, or even just simple "hey this character I discovered likes to naked model for art schools" even that's an interesting analysis on an OC!) It's a shame that, even nowadays still, sex ed for adults even at a basic "hey it's okay to feel this type of way for this kink, just be careful" isn't talked about until one goes searching because they're having an internal crisis :( And oof HS sex ed/parental education also is just noooot supported. Too much "teens are still children, therefore they are pure and must NOT be shown anything like this" (which... pfft I remember being a teen; ooh boi LOL) and abstinence, and not enough support for exploring
