Through trans creators I heard that just being trans and making a video even about a non-sexual topic might be labelled sexual content in the future. So yeah... just another way to try and make queer people invisible. And when you say you respect the porn artist more than the people harassing them, I get that... when I hear people make fun of smutty fanfiction or niche fetishes I always think, sure you can do that, if kicking down is your thing and you have nothing more clever to say. And feel free to skip this last part, just some nerding out about the "fertility statue". If you are thinking of the Venus of Willendorf, there is also the more likely theory that it depicts and old wise woman and is not related to fertility at all. Old women were revered because of their vast knowledge of medicine, giving birth, food, etc. When the statue was found in 1908, scientists were sure that big naked breasts had to be sexual, but that is very much colored by the way they viewed the female chest in general: almost always in a sexual context. It is also ignoring that big breasts have never been related to fertility. In 2018, Facebook even banned a picture of the Venus of Willendorf. Female chests can't just be neutral like a male chest! They have to be sexual especially if they're big! Sorry for the info dump, I felt like maybe this would be interesting to people here :')

Definitely. Queer porn has always been an act of free expression and rebellion, but in our current hostile political environment, it's vital that queer people keep making queer horny kinky art. Porn is under attack here in America, even though porn had been a part of human history ever since we were early hominids carving fat tittied fertility idols out of rock. Conservatives are becoming increasingly intolerant of pornography, they disguise their vitriol as moral objection, but their ultimate goal is not actually banning porn. The goal is to label queerness, no matter how innocent, as obscene and pornographic, and thus a target for bans and censorship. This goes hand in hand with rising social media censorship. Online advertisers HATE content that isn't perfectly sanitized and family-friendly. Porn, particularly weird queer porn, threatens their ability to spam ads into our eyeballs. This is why websites have cracked down on porn, ad-unfriendly topics, and even bad language, sometimes at the expense of driving away their audience (looking at you tumblr. And anybody remember when onlyfans tried to remove porn?). Idk where I'm going with this vent, just...idk, I'll always have 100× more respect for some queer furry drawing lola bunny inflation porn over the sort of people that would harass them over it and attempt to censor them. I'm not saying porn is inherently more noble than any other art form, but it IS a part of art, and it is a key tool for expressing and exploring human sexuality.

I imagine it might be that you're trying to capture a sense of intimacy? To perceive and know someone with all their saggy bits and flaws and love (or at least lust) them anyway instead of the other way around, a character made perfect to titillate the audience, maybe. Idk, but I also have So Many Hangups about my art so pot meet kettle, I guess!

I KNOWwww and I am SO GRATEFUL FOR THAT BEYOND BELIEF! 😫 it just turns out i have a lot of weird hangups about sex in art. I worry a lot about potentially making people uncomfortable. Also, there's a bug in my brain that complains whenever I draw the sort of nude bodies I like to draw (imperfect, flabby, sometimes old), like whyyyyy is THIS the content I feel compelled to explore? Why not something more normal, more conventionally attractive, more palatable? Like I genuinely enjoy drawing the stuff that I draw but I always gotta have a fight with the small town high school mean girl in my head that says ewwwww, are you a furry or something??
