Blegh, June sucked, y’all. I apologize for not making much pride art. Ya boi got his bank info stolen! 😢 Basically some troglodyte stole my debit card information and made a bunch of fraudulent charges, kicking off a major headache for me AND forcing me to cancel a vacation I’d been planning for weeks. But it’s fine! It’s fine. I only cried for twenty minutes. 🙃It’s fine. Everything is resolved now, I got my money back. Can’t get that vacation back, but y’know, something something when life gives you lemons, et cetera. I’ll just use the time to make some art instead. 💖

Oh Shadow's not in denial about liking men, he's pretty open about his bisexuality. He doesn't so much feel getting with a woman is the only path for him so much as he's simply mirroring what his parents did. Specifically what his father did, Shadow very much wants to follow in Saint's footsteps, which in his mind means working hard, landing a loyal, hard-working wife, and popping out a litter of pups to someday pass the farm down to. Saint is Shadow's model for what a "real man" is, and he tries very hard to contort himself into this mold. He feels like he owes it to his dad's memory...and it's not like Saint is around to explain Shadow should be his own man. :/

So if Strawberry is perfectly fine with her kids being queer, why is Shadow so deep in denial about liking dudes, and feel like getting with a girl is the only option?
