Mirror Drop

I think that you make some valid observations about the overall behaviors of the NPCs, and I think this whole arc serves to emphasize the large contrast between how they treat those that are nominally outside of the Sorcerous Kingdom and those that are officially part of it. You must understand that we as readers are uniquely aware of the full extent of what the SK is really doing, and that is the key to how they get away with an absurd amount of atrocities. It totally makes sense in-universe and the author has done a shockingly good job of keeping everything not just consistent but also adding on top of canon. However, I certainly can relate to you with the feeling that we are always barreling towards the next atrocity that MUST happen because it happened in canon. I also want to see more of Neia and Nat just like many other readers, but this revolution that MUST happen has just been looming over everything in this arc like a dark cloud. Hoping that this can be resolved quickly so that things can actually start looking up again for the Holy Kingdom.

Thanks for the chapter! There is only one problem I see and that's that we have seen this all before! I think it's about time the Sorcerous Kingdom started using POSITIVE measures and not just murder, deception and leverage of others suffering to expand their influence otherwise this story no matter how well written will always just be more of the same! And we'll one thing I can say for sure all the "good Characters" that the Sorcerous kingdom has cultivated for itself? If the attack on realize goes through as in Canon NONE OF THEM will still believe in the "justice of the holy kingdom" or how "Ainz All Gown brings prosperity to his people". That's my main funk about the original story as well, in essence the entire story is just "Nazarick arrives in the new world and even though Ainz gives tons of blabla how he doesn't wanna be evil at the end they use EVERY war crime, injustice and horrendous actions imaginable to build what they essentially view as a "meaningless expandeble zone of influence" BUT THEN go on about "how the people of this world are so stupidly ignorant they don't even realize how they are trapped in their own misconception supposedly bc the 'class system' is fostering them!" however the denizen of Nazarick as well as Ainz are probably the most delusional and ignorant people out there in so many ways and I have to say of a story really has only one plot point ("superior outsiders" conquer locals and influence their lives) than no matter how great the writing and the characters it all won't help if the plot is obvious, like from about 3 chapters after the start of this Neia Arc (when Sayes first informed her of "revolutionesque stuff" it was incredibly obvious that this result was supposed to be inevitable and all chances and ways to potentially reach a BETTER outcome were just brute forced out of the way by playing heavily into the "People of this world are dumb and ignorant trope" and having Saye, Liam and "Caspond" essentially force a confrontation by leaving lies and deception in their wake!) For me personally the most interesting plot points in this arc was Neia's life BEFORE the "assassination" Lago Lousa and Liams life in Camp restelo and with his "wife" but those are now irrelevant because "SK starts war and scheme so anything else doesn't matter"... I still like the story but this aspect of fanfictions is really starting to bugg me now!
