Speaking of Talents, our Frost Dragon Draconic Bard had one too, and she say when she learned the Talent of Ludmilla that her own talent was better than her We never get to know what her Talent is in the end, really a tease of the author said in just one old chapter and never presented anymore after :) Maybe its a details he plan to use in some future arc/scene But i really want to know each time i remember or reread it :)))

Reading Valkyrie's Shadow, I'd almost forgotten about Talent holders. Canon Overlord places a lot more importance on them, but the last time I can remember this story revealing a plot-relevant Talent (without re-reading, it's a long story and I'm sure I'm forgetting one) is Ludmilla's own Truesight from the very first arc. Interesting to think about, just because I'm remembering even Season 4 of Overlord still having people like Renner sneakily trying to get Talent information out of Evileye. Not a bad difference between the two stories, just one I didn't even consider until just now.

Was is also very surprising (even more) is more the reverse in my view, Ludmilla and co know that the Empire (top people that they try to bring to their side and view and etc) had many false assumption/view and a lots of things build on flawed fundation who just block or twist things on their side, presenting to their face some basic clear things on subject like that (fundamentional things, or atleast things who make them question, as they have the weight to say it and so make them atleast start question some thing instead of take if for granted) is sure to be better to make them realize things and start reasses/readjust their reality, instead of just pilling new things to them who they will just twist and etc to patch it somewhat with their old comprehension/worldview, that certainly seem wasted time at some points to still let them go into this direction instead of at some point just be clear and showing/say some simple basic 'true' to them, like just simply the record of old corelyn barony is already enought to prove and show the effect of farmer and vocation and etc (to show them that no this is not superstition or etc, and no need to talk and say about secret knowledge like class and level, just the basic of it is already fixing lot of things and atleast put a good fundation for why, how and what they are showing to them here and what they can discuss Also be more clear and decisif on the reality of things with Frianne seem way better at this points, like she clearly full of stereotype on many outside things (which is ironic how she talk about herself trying to fix some internal stereotype of the empire) but don't question outside ones and take it for granted, just pointing them to her clearly instead of keep turning around pots and walking on egg saying nothing seem more constructive with what discussion it will bring who are linked to it

honestly at this point i'm kind of surprised Frianne isn't straight up asking about the relationship between Ludmillas faith and her policies. Sure it might be a bit of a social fauxpas but i don't see her silently theorizing instead of Inquisitin, especially considering she already suspects the SK giving their nobles some form of ancient wisdom. it's not like she needs to realize the truth immediately but it's something rather easily demonstrated and proved with basic data.

“A mage tower? How many mages dwell here?” “About ten per cent of the village population is composed of arcane casters,” Ludmila said. “Mostly children we’ve identified with arcane potential and enrolled as Apprentices." Aww miss a next of Ludmilla on this, like, "with the number show and prediction on it, in the end we expect to reach a 1/3 of the village population being magic caster, also most of them present are Apprentices for now and only for just a bit more than 1 year but already we get quite a few of them being at the Second Tier of magic, the prediction expect that we will get easely around 80% of this magic caster population reaching Tier 3 Frianne bam: How?!? What do you mean? How? Seem normal? Our system and education put in place here and with the tenet of the Six supporting it will make it quite easely to make it happen, tilt head, the Theocracy had done similar case for centurie when/where they had the ressource to make it happen, the SK and Undead Labor just bring us the possibility to do it with all our population in my territory “The realms of the arcane aren’t well explored and what we do know is ill-defined,” Frianne said. “That makes it easy for mages to convince the uninitiated that they know what they are doing or that their theories have merit. " “So you’re promoting this game to help your subjects learn about the Elemental Axis,” Frianne said. “To what end?” Did non-casters need to know about such things? Well Frianne............ that here when you begin to got rid of the 'uninitiated' and include Magic caster into your culture and country, like you supposed goal and lot of your time/study was done for it......................and make the realms of arcane more explored and defined.............. The game of children used as a real educational tool and transmission of knowledge is really interesting, its really how it was done in the past for us too logically, and its interesting to see here really start being used by Ludmilla (also in Canon last volume we had this point bring in the front with the Children Dark Elf game they do in the forest) noice one Author to use this crusty logical details of the NW here :)))
