It's sure that after years of update perfectly on the clock :) it feel a bit strange and jump on the eye in the last few week that we get some 'miss' 2-3 time (in Patreon and in Royal Road) and see some minuscule readjustment made That feel ood :) Well i guess its maybe because Patreon thing (change) and all the added PDF/Epub things who make it happen and so we get some little change or etc done by author in the past few week Sure, its a bit of a dissapointment moment or a huh moment xD to wait the update and that it don't come very unexpectedly this time as it has really become a solid update routine :P I guess we really really get spoiled too much by author for all these years :)

Nice to see most of the crew back together Ludmilla, Clara and Laine doing what they do best. Though now that we’ve gotten some regional context and are back home that whole before the storm title you got going is a bit ominous ;) It’s funny I got a bit of deja vu when I saw the title it reminded me for a sec of one of my favorite historical books. Then when I read this chapter that sense came back pretty hard. Though it’s about a important turning point in human history one that so it’s very applicable. The book is “The Storm Before The Storm” it’s by Mike Duncan creator of the podcasts Rome & Revolutions. It details the decline of the Roman Republic which is arguably one of the greatest failures of governance in history. The Baharuth Empire seems to be falling into a the Late Republican trap Jirceniv sounds like if Sulla. That is if he was already part of the later dynasty. A rising class who base their life chances on conquest. While the rising inequality and loss then reversal of upward mobility lead the impoverished majority to become loyal to successful generals. The land, plunder and slaves taken from conquest provide the opportunity for mass upward mobility. Of course the huge wealth the generals gained were invested into land sold by indebted conscripts serving far away for years at a time. That vicious cycle accelerated as as ultra wealthy generals turned victory into a political career in which winning a war was the height of success. All this destabilizing the government and constitution by corruption. They had battle hardened veterans willing to support the cause at the ballot box or in the streets. Seems like you get what I’m putting down on your own and as Clara mentioned to Frannie the problem were discussed a few arc’s ago. Though the new crop from the younger generation tasked to deal with the Sorcerers Kingdom are the right people. But it’s prime time, now they’re a part of the bureaucracy representing their nation facing interests to balance and realities to overcome.
