Yeah I imagine its almost entirely automated at that point in the future. Pilot override with cameras or an all glazed nose perhaps.

It's a bit reminiscent of the Convair Pogo or the X-13 Vertijet and I suspect they have found a way around the problem that plagued all tail sitters: How to see the ground when you're landing.
