So, I decided to do True Blood every Friday (starting this week, the 23rd) and a movie adaptation every other week.
Also, I'm going to start reading some of the Outlander books so I can add them to the poll for next time!

Definitely would be spoilers lol. Though Outlander is kind of a given considering the type of book it's based off of. I'll probably end up sponsoring this, so let me know when you've finished the book. No hurry. 😊

Ooh, that's good to know. That means I only need to read the first one before I get started. Thank you! Also, please tell me what those ships are when I finish the show (or after I encounter them). You are so good about not spoiling, so I know you won't, but I wanna know!

I would like to add that, for book 1 especially, the show stays very true to the novel, even some of the dialog is verbatim. So you will be spoiled for your TV reaction if you read the book first. Not sure if you're worried about that sort of thing, but I thought I would mention it. I watched the show first, then read the books. I was surprised at how closely, season 1 in particular followed the books. I felt like I was doing a rewatch. As for the rest, the big stories are adapted, but some of the smaller stuff is not.

There are 9 Outlander books. Each one is pretty long. The books pretty much line up with the seasons, book 1 is season 1, book 2 is season 2, etc., so you don't have to read all the books at once. There are currently 7 seasons. Season 7 was broken up into 7a and 7b. 7b should be out this summer. Also, season 1 was broken up. Netflix has them all under season 1. I think on Starz it is broken up in half, but all 16 epis are covered in book 1. This show has my 2nd all time fav TV ship. You are currently watching my number 1. 🥰 And another show you're watching contains a ship in my top 10. 😊 Thank you for considering this show!
