Am I the only one who thinks that Dex doesn't really understand his privilege? I kind of totally get both of their points of view when they are talking about Emma's job.
Ugh. I totally love their friendship while they were cuddling on that hill!
I'm guessing that Ian never comes back, which is kind of fine with me.

I cannot tell you how ridiculously stupid I felt when I realized this was the main character of our show. Lol. He's definitely blind to his privilege, but I agree, I think most of us are until we're called out on it. BUT, I do like the sentiment he's going for here. Especially at 21 or 22 years old. It's way too early to give up on your dreams. Yes! She really should be a writer of some sort. Her one-liners are great. Lol.

omg lol not you not realizing it was dex! that gave me a good chuckle. his job in the media is as a tv presenter/host. dex definitely doesn’t understand his privilege but most people don’t. good thing emma is always there to set him straight, and he pushes and challenges her too. telling her to go into teaching because she would be a great teacher or to write more and not just give up because people didn’t come to her one play. they make each other better which is important. “you’re as complicated as a two piece jigsaw puzzle…in thick ply” had me giggling. their banter really is so great.
