Last chapter, Hecate said that a beings true nature is only revealed when cornered. My guy decided that he’d create a weapon that would destroy the world to kill gods. Rage against the heavens indeed, lol. I hope Hecate lives. I liked her perspective last chapter and it seemed like she had the potential to be an ally. The Goddess of Crossroads being the first to see what’s happening would make sense too (humans vs gods). She made the correct decision the last time the rulers of the planet were overthrown. Hopefully she can do the same here.

Gods are tricky to truly kill in this verse, and Hecate specifically seems to be buffed tremendously. It’s possible she was able to survive. If she’s truly dead, then yeah, it’s gonna be a catastrophe lol.

Assuming Hecate survives...that...then in 9 months or so (or however long it takes for the Greeks), Thalia is going to have a younger cousin while what's her face (Alex's sister) will become an aunt. Because Hecate is definitely going to try and break Alex's hips.

I didn't precise it in the chapter but Hecate by using her domain as a moon goddess had when the moon turned red cast spells to make sure they would not be noticed. One of those spells was a barrier. More than that, she took the brunt of the blow and if you see the end of the chapter, it is written that their surroundings began to change

That was foolish of him, don't bring a weapon into the world that will end everything you are fighting to protect. Because at the end, you can't get rid of the weapon and someone else will get there hands on it.

No worries Allen, if you need to take time for yourself to pay respects or mourn do so. As a side note, if Hecate did indeed die a true death here, then magic, along with the mist, doesn't exist anymore. However considering Alex was eating her conceptually, well, that might make things quite strange on that topic.
