Claire was so close to getting away! I really thought she was pulling it off. Until she didn't. Sigh. But Jamie to the rescue!
Are we setting this up for Frank to 'give up' on Claire so we can be free to enjoy her being with Jamie? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
Also, that rape scene with the two British soldiers was hard to watch. Especially with poor Jamie right there and unable to help. You could literally see the anguish on his face.

Yes, this was a mid-season finale. I didn't watch live at the time, so I didn't have to wait either, but it looks like there was six months between episodes 8 and 9. 😬 I'm really loving your reactions and post show commentary. And I'm so happy you're enjoying the show. Thank you for pushing through the 1st book and agreeing to watch earlier than planned!
