Tifa vs Scarlet Nears Completion: July 22nd - 2nd to Last Update
🕑 Added 2025-07-22 23:39:00 +0000 UTCAlright guys, this isn't the BIG announcement yet. But God Damn it, it's close. I'm excited to say, I think....I will finish animating Tifa vs Scarlet by the end of the week.
I'll still need time to touch base with my vocal talents, re-record some dialogue, reshoot a couple of shots, and do some video editing. But the bulk of the animation is very nearly finished.
Now, This is just a post to say thank you to you guys. I started using Blender just 5 years ago, during the pandemic, when I didn't have to commute to work anymore. I couldn't have imagined I'd build such a community, over a thousand patron members, over a million views on YouTube, 3,000 Followers on DeviantArt, and Nearly 10,000 Subscribers from around the world. I look back, and I couldn't be more fulfilled. I couldn't be more proud, and I couldn't be more thankful. Art and Storytelling is such a fundamental part of the human experience, and the importance of it, can never be overstated.
I'll say this, I've never had a true artistic masterpiece..... until I animated Tifa vs Scarlet. There are 3 Scenes that bring me to tears. I think it is an emotional and sensual masterpiece. There is no way to make everyone happy with this one, and that was never my goal. This film stuck to a true artistic vision and It accomplished it, in ways I couldn't have even imagined. I don't rewatch any of my projects once they're finished, I have no reason to. But Tifa vs Scarlet, I'll be coming back to again and again. I've been working towards this moment, for 8 Months now, and now that the week has finally come, in which I'll be wrapping it up. I wish I could be in this moment forever.... It feels like that last 15 minutes of a marathon....When your body is moving on its own and you're barely aware of your most basic senses. Something else takes over, and that's what this feels like. There is so much more I'm going to say...but tonight is not the time....
As this project finally concludes...there are a handful of you guys, I really want to shout out, and I can't name all of you, but just off the top of my head, I just need to share my appreciation and love to the people who have stuck with me for so long.

In all my years, This is one of the most precious comments I've ever received. I have a folder on my computer where I save messages that truly touched me, and this will be in there. I will come back to these words many times again in the future, because what you said was very powerful. The fact that you see the madness, vision and passion means everything to me. When the film finally comes out soon, I don't anticipate I'll have that much to say, because everything is right there on screen. Patri, I need you to know it is an honor to hear that. Truly. My hype has never died. Not once did it waver since the moment I discovered your channel and your incredible work. You turned dreams, ones that seemed forever trapped in the realm of what if into stunning realities. With no one backing you up, you pushed through and created something only a true artist could bring to life. A passion for fighting, a love for rendering, an obsession with animation and editing—everything you do carries the dedication of a madman and a talent of someone who could rival AAA studios of tomorrow. Every technique, every cut, every motion is carefully crafted, all coming together into a visual masterpiece. The sensual vibe to it, layered beautifully beneath a choreography that feels both raw and elegant. To this day, I’ve always dreamed of this match: Tifa vs Scarlet and when I knew it was finally coming to life, I swear I felt the same adrenaline I had when my football club fought for promotion after thirty-four years. A full year of waiting, sweating, hoping, thinking of every possibility. I kept wondering "what if Tifa does this?.." or "what if Kosmic will include that?" The hype was and still is surreal, almost agonizing. So many questions, so many scenarios running through my mind right now. And now, in over twelve minutes, you will be about to make those dreams to the surface, shaped them with your hands, and release them as pure art.

You are absolutely welcome Kosmic, I am honoured that you mentioned me and so glad that you've found my enthusiasm for the project so supportive. I have of course watched all of your previous movies now and there are some that really stand out as cinematic masterpieces in their own rights, both of the Lara Croft movies for example (personal favourites of mine) but I have to say I have not been so invested in a project like I am in this one since, well pretty much forever. As anyone looking at my Deviant Art page https://www.deviantart.com/shireknight01/gallery/76491958/featured will instantly guess, I have a pretty personal relationship with Tifa, Aerith, Scarlet and the rest of the FFVII family so this project also means a lot to me, it's funny that until you posted that initial teaser video and it just randomly popped up on my timeline I had never even heard of you or your movies -I'm so, so glad that it did Your enthusiasm for the project too makes a huge amount of difference, it's easy to see you are so proud of what you are doing here and this rubs off on everyone watching you, like you, I hope that this is a movie (the term video just doesn't seem to cut it when talking about this project anymore) I will come back to time and time again and always find something new that I missed on the previous viewing. As you move towards the end of production I wish you all the best Kosmic and know that I am so excited to see the end result, it's so close now!!!!!
