It's difficult to try and imagine what it's like to have been alive for less than two weeks and having to cope with all of these tragic events and the emotions attached to them. Normally adults have some semblance of a grasp on how they handle sadness, but Deleon has none of that.

My heart dropped when the door closed and Deleon was left alone. It was bound to happen eventually, but being left alone with all of the emotional baggage that he was never really meant to feel? That's heavy.
