This bug has been around for different versions after the 7.4, cause there is not necessary to remove the check from "Reset Windows Position".

Does AMD processor not support DBVM? The processor model is 6800h. I enabled virtualization and disabled kernel isolation in the BIOS. The registry is also created and set to 0. CE just doesn't start or you can't attach CE to the game (gives error) or you can't find/use cheats ? (If you're using a cheat table made by someond else, make sure it was made for MacOS and not windows)

new here. thought to get some patreon benefits when i saw the chance to update to the latest version. but sadly, neither 7.5 nor 7.5.2 work correctly. they ask for initial address on previously working tables (multiple games) and then simply don't work. went back to 7.4, accidently installing those extras once (which take ages to uninstall lol) and everything works as they did again. hope a future 7.5.X will become stable enough again.

Offercore is an advertiser plugin for software installs like adsense is for websites. It shows an third party offer and if you click accept it installs it. Windows doesn't say it's malware but that it's a PUP which stands for "Potentially unwanted application" because you may potentially click accept on a offer you don't want afterwards. The patron version here does not contain it so you don't have to worry about installing any third party offer

Windows 8.1 was the last pay to use OS from windows if I remember right and it didn’t have this telemetry crap, unsafe settings on by default, insane numbers of services running in background on default, and didn’t force updates and allowed you to disable updates if you wanted. I swear the human society has gone to hell when crap like this is created. Makes me glad I am getting older because my gosh is living a chore anymore, heck even getting a job is a pain and even going to a new doctor office, dental office, etc… Because of all the freaking pages if paperwork to fill out, heck when they have me list all my previous surgeries and so forth I just leave it blank now, such a waist of time and takes so long to fill it out now that the doctor or what not shows up before I even fill it all out if I actually take the time and fill it all out, it’s a complete joke and I am laughing at the stupidity of it, granted this is in USA freaking USA and you can’t even set stuff up right, like wow just wow :(.

Also using Ghost Spectre OS windows 11 is another must, bypasses the microsoft login when first installing os and updates drivers automatically upon install and other stuff and then windows updates are force disabled so then I go into advanced system settings and turn iff the remote connection and then use a open source program to automatically disable all the security problems within settings and then I use a program that disables only the security problems part of telemetry and also disables all services that are security problems and used services only used for businesses, cuts it iut down to under 90 services running cimpared to over 120, and doesn’t break anything :). I swear technology has gone to crap when companies can get away with releasing unsafe OS and other crap nowadays, should be against the law for selling our data and forcing crap on us and hiding things :(.

Man antivirus I don’t use anymore, they have way to many false positives and are annoying as hell to get certain things to run and not be forced deleted, using windows built in firewall plus an opensource firewall and adguard and other security programs plus a couple standalone anti malware programs for scanning large files/programs plus stand alone tron virus killer tool and virus total website and safe browsing is all a person really needs, less cpu being used on pc 24/7 is a plus. For the noobie user large my parents I would stick with AV but since I took computer classes in college and also learned tons in my own I don’t have to worry about using a stupid AV, thank gosh!

I'm so confused, I've tried everything I could find. All I have is Windows Defender and I've disabled real-time, rep based, and everything else everything online has told me. I've checked for Badlion, I've checked to make sure everything is off. I decided that I'd just try the Patreon version since that one shouldn't have anything that should trigger AV, even though my AV is turned off. No matter what I do, no matter what version I use, I still keep getting "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this item." The problem occurred for a program that managed the graphics of the windows, but even solving this problem, another very important problem remains regarding the trainers generated with the 7.5 version, after having opened and closed it a few times any CETRAINER generated with the version 7.5 this will no longer open, as if it went to block... The only solution found to date to be able to reopen a generated CETRAINER is: Open the cheat engine -> General Setting -> Remove the check on SAVE WINDOWS POSITIONS. Then everything will work correctly, however if you put the SAVE WINDOWS POSITIONS check in again, after a few openings and closings of the CETRAINER it goes into BLOCK again (About after 20/25 openings and closings). Also keep the uncheck the SAVE WINDOWS POSITIONS it is extremely boring. PS: I tried this on 3 different PC and I confirm that it happens only with CETTRAINER generated by 7.5. Exploring the Temporary folder on APPDATA/LOCAL you notice that it tries to load but then deletes itself...

I find the 7.5 version of CE problematic on trainer creation, not only does it not seem to be able to respect the created measures that are deformed, but as soon as a generated trainer is opened it seems to load well for about 1 second, then it seems that this is closed for reopen with the measures deformed. TEST: this is clearly visible if you create a trainer.exe with pre-established measures, for example: HEIGHT 900, WIDTH 1027 and you insert a background image with the exact measurements, after generating a trainer.exe this will not even respect the measurements which were visibly correct during creation. I also tried to generate an .exe with "DesignTimePPI" at 0 which should keep the measurements exactly as they were created, but again it will generate the same error. All of these issues didn't happen with the releases: 7.4 It would be possible to fix these problems with new versions, or at least if during the creation everything seems correct because after generating an .exe the background images themselves do not respect the full background measurements... It is not an error or a problem of "ANCHORS" because we are talking about background images of the same size as the trainer anyway, on a trainer set to "NOT SIZABLE", something is simply wrong and this is demonstrated by the problem that occurs during the opening of the trainer.exe with this brief closure for a few tenths of a second, almost as if 2 CET Trainers were started. In the meantime, would it not be possible to use only the CETTRAINER part of version 7.4 but with the features and implementations of 7.5, if so, how?

No linenumbers? Might be a firewall issue blocking the ceshare list. It's not a blocking issue but you can remove ceshare.lua from the ce autorun folder and the message will be gone (but then also no access to the ceshare database of cheat tables)

The installcore is a false positive. Likely malwarebytes as that AV is completely incompetent and doesn't look at file contents, only at the name "Cheat Engine". The other 2 are just heuristic scan results that indicate it looks scary which is correct as CE lets you do anything you want. Still false positives though as it's intended behavior

Yes. Use proton to launch cheat engine in the same compat path as the game is using. (use the steamid of the game to find the path and use the same proton version as you use for the game. it's in the steamapps folder)

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but all the tutorials I can find for this just have people downloading and running this, but my computer either just autodeletes it or tells me I don't have the right file path, then autodeletes it. I tried putting the EXE with the source code but it just deletes the exe anyway. I feel a bit silly, it was a random bit of AVG bloatware I missed when I was uninstalling all the extra crap the box store shoved onto my PC way back, not even windows defender noticed I had a 3rd antivirus software.

Sorry to bother you. I can't get the download file from this website. No matter how I try to do it, it keeps saying that the download failed. Is there any other way to download it?

couldn't start explorer.exe via new task. when i say locked up i meant for real. had to reboot. profile got wiped out and had to do a system restore from a couple days ago so i can have a computer for work in a few hours. the off icon should've been a warning but i was too eager to open a 7.5 table so signed up and everything. lesson learned good luck

Weird. I doubt it's an anti virus yet though. This release is too new, and as it is it's the most clean release as of yet (According to virustotal) As for your explorer issue. Is if hanging or did it close ? If it closed and not comming back, you can press ctrl+alt+delete, open the taskmanager there, and then do file->run new task and type in explorer. For me that usually restores the desktop after an explorer.exe crash

Yes x64. Win11. I killed the anti-virus & tried run as admin. I've never had issues with previous versions. Maybe something in Defender but I can't check it because I can't get explorer to even come back and i have too many files converting to reboot.

So you don't even get to see the license agreement? What about the dialog to run as admin? If no, then you either have an anti virus that's blocking everything, or an anti cheat that's blocking CE's execution, or something else that's blocking CE from starting. You are on a 64-bit capable operating system?

i click the CheatEngine75P.exe and it downloads but when I try to run it explorer locks up. I am not seeing an accept or browser login

When you click accept it should open a browser/tab where you can login your patreon. Once you've done that the installer will continue. Nothing should be locked. (check your firewall and anti virus, they may be busy blocking the installer from contacting cheatengine.org )
