We don't have a name for this yet, sort of, but Andrew got his hands on every single Xbox Magazine Demo Disc and we're going through all of them one by one 100%. Didn't a different company do this first? Anyway, we can't put this on youtube because of copyright concerns (we don't want our channels to get flagged and demonetized) so we're uploading them all here to Patreon. Enjoy this for free just because.

Just a heads up for the xbox demos, specifically for the original xbox, a lot of the ones from 2003-04 have easter egg codes where you have to hold down the shoulder buttons and input a lengthy code to unlock full-on hidden demos, the lot of them being either import games like Metal Wolf Chaos or Nickelodeon titles involving Tak or Spongebob. So good luck with those when you get to them and I'm excited to see more from this series!

My favorite demo of all time was one for burnout 3 on the ps2, 3 minutes of loading to run a minute long lap and would have to reload to run it again. I played it hundreds of times

American Wasteland was the last of the good Tony Hawk games til the remake. Underground 1 was peak, Underground 2 took a step down but was still very good. American Wasteland had a lot of what made the previous games great, so it was solid, but you saw that it was another step down and they never really recovered after the next few releases until The remake dropped

At 51:52, Nick is referring to Carentan, and that is from COD 2. He’s absolutely right that Carentan in Band of Brothers directly influenced the level design. It was my favorite multiplayer map in COD 2, and was the first Xbox 360 game I ever played back in college. Good memories.

If you have AirPods, I know these do it for sure, check to make sure your audio is set to fixed not spatial. You can change if by holding on the volume slider in the drop down menu.

I never heard of it, never played it, I think the movie(s) were out when I made my screen name BlodRain (or something of the sort) and I got “called out” so much as a 12-14 year girl because I liked vampires and thought I was being original, but the men of the internet thought I was copying something lol. Ah, childhood memories. Those movies are shit, but I would love a watch party for shits and giggles.

Part of the beauty of the Funhaus show was the cam, their reactions and interactions. I think this video was fine but didn't finish it because every time someone laughed I wanted to see that instead of no face cam reaction. I get it's not the style they're going for but Demo Disc is a favorite series for those reactions. Which yes also were for R34 but that's not needed.

Tanner's "joke would be funny" if they weren't objectively wrong by basic chronology or took into account the times after Funhaus went under the RT umbrella the literal opposite scenario occurred. If you add whenever Geoff vocalized in content that he was tongue-in-cheek 'upset' with James/Bruce/Elyse for doing something he thought about and FH did first this goes from just aggressively ignorant to the first Trash Take I've seen in any ex-RT Patreon's comment section. Kudos. Now go tell Game Grumps they're "entire existence" is ripping off Mikey & Fredo and Arin Hansen has been copying Andrew by not reading tutorial messages for over a decade.

I don't know if it was a official Xbox demo disc but my strongest memory of demo had Die Hard Trilogy and a F1 game. The F1 game had a selling point of Murray Walker having a commentary. It had a glitch when you launched Die Hard where you heard Murrey shout "He's out. No he's not. YEP" I have always wondered if it just me who had that. But if anyone knows when I can hear those classic lines please link me
