Gavin use a live enzyme based cleaning solution for odour removal, I had a cat destroy a room and it actually works. It eats the urine crystals that cause odour otherwise any little bit of moisture will bring the smell back out. It even got the smell out of the rugs and wooden floor boards but didn't remove the stain the urine left. Hope this helps mate.

The thing about cat pee was that the smell sticks around regardless of how much you clean the surface, because it seeps through the cracks and soaks into the insulation below the floorboards. When my cat peed on the floor for a week, the only thing that fixed it was not only taking the carpet out, but also we had to pull up the floor boards themselves, and replace both those boards and the insulation below it.
