Also... remote access. Being able to have remote access to computers when you are out of town is helpful too. You guys are a small business and should really approach this podcast more as a business in eliminating issues. Synology would allow for backups and harddrive redundancy that would prevent loss of content as well as protecting your own personal files. You would be able to have privileges for both personal and work and have a cloud based backup system to the server.

Andrew, Nick and Gavin. Why don't you guys use auto syncing folders? You can sync both a server (Synology like Gain has) and a Dropbox to specific folders so that no matter if Gavin sends it or not, all the files are always accessible to anyone with folder access. Any work related file should be in these folders and audio/ video should auto save into them. I would strongly recommend everyone in the company have their own Synology servers (Small business ones) that uses Synology Drive so it syncs desktop local files. If you guys need help with this, let me know. I know Gavin understands this to a point with his SlowMo servers.

As someone who has worked for both Coke and Pepsi, the Dr. Pepper company owns the recipe for the sodas it just sells through the both companies. It just depends where you are in the world which major company sells their products
