I'm surprised no one said "archive" when talking about the emails. I don't even know if Andrew actually deletes them fully or just archives them. Deleting is much more of a hassle and archiving is just a single button.

Wait...people don't archive their emails? I know emails don't take up a whole lot of space like at most kbs, but they still take up google drive space. I'm more baffled by the concept of -not- deleting emails than deleting them. 90% of the emails I get are junk mail, so it makes way more sense to delete the junk as I'm sorting the actually important stuff into proper folders. I've had one too many important emails get flagged as spam to just trust filters to do their job.
