I wouldn't say "we". Could be man or woman. It's pretty common for younger people who don't feel they fall into traditional looks, interesting, preferences and etc to identify as "they/ them" if they don't feel like the stereotypical man or woman. Lindsay Jones is an example where they are straight (or their relationship is), a mother, and etc but their style and interest and maybe more isn't traditional woman. Lindsay has always been unique and different. So someone using they/ them could just very easily mean a range of things. I don't assume man because of this. I'm not around that sort of culture a lot, so maybe this is all poorly said, but I think you get my meaning. All I mean is "they/ them" could very easily mean anything. So I wouldn't assume.

Absolutely one of my favorites as well and I too also didn't know it was Canada only. I've been learning a lot from this podcast that a lot of things I've had my entire life are Canada only like McDonalds having McCafe but that not being a thing in the US or their smarties is our rockets, etc.
