🕑 Added 2024-12-08 12:00:05 +0000 UTCHappy eighth day of Regulation openings! I hope December has brought a lot of joy and laughs with potentially a tinge of hot sauce. Nothing better than suffering as a team!

Old Dutch makes Popcorn Twists, Hostess (owned by Frito-Lay) makes Hickory Sticks.
Keefin Bickmore
I love Andrew and Nick eating spicy food together
Tuomas L
I think your entire defense apart from Hendrickson might have something to do with it
awkwardgemini
As a Cincinnati native it hurts to hear. Everyone knows it’s our owner and shit organization. Burrow and Chase are on fire
Abraham Ramos
Andrew being a spice mouse is a real double edged sword, cause the reactions are great. But it also makes the nick segments shorter. Also love how nick is sweatier and sweatier every "day"
Kyle Sorensen
Nick getting sweatier and sweatier is phenomenal
Dijon
Damn!
JohnPaul
Hahaha I like how fast he follows it up with “it’s hot”
Jason Kelly
I thought the same. Joe B. leads the league is passing yards and passing TDs.
Boone Bass
I think the twists are like puff corn
Mara Copland
The recipe for caramel corn on the back of the twist bag fucks I made it last weekend and it’s so damn good. I used some vanilla salt to make it more like a salted caramel and I was in heaven. Highly recommend. (If you have bugles to add, even better.) Twists are like Hawkins Cheesies for me - I’ll crave them like burning, and then demolish two bags of them and be satisfied for a year.
Joe
This rules
Daniel McGrotty
It’s good. It’s hot. It’s good.
Regulation Brenton
I bet if you hydraulic pressed those Twists, you could get the whole bag down to the size of a dice; There's not much to them.
nick h
Jamo sucks, Addison clears! 😏
Kat don Vee
Poor Andrew, experiencing only pain and suffering for Nick's gifts 😭
Owen Dias
Same. Although I know as much as Gavin about the NFL so that's my excuse I guess. I became a Jets fan because they just happened to be on TV in the UK every time I was channel surfing for a while. I saw a hoodie for cheap and took it as a sign that they were my team. I now know that Jets fans are nutcases but at least we have the best chant.
Zach Childs
As a non-local Jets fan who chose to be a fan.... This one hurt.
Tuomas L
Saying Joe Burrow might be the problem in Cincinnati might be the dumbest thing said on this podcast all year. 30 TDs to 5 INTs, putting up amazing games every week.
Magika Shields
Favourite parts of these, is Nick pairing the sauces with food ideas while Andrew is dying haha. Andrew is a real hero for organising all this and for putting himself through the sauce monkey hot sauce pain
Soots
This was all around a really fun episode (to watch, maybe not so much for Andrew... 💀)
Soots
Nah, thank you, my family in Spain celebrates Jan 6th almost like its Christmas day so the 12 days of Christmas explanation just connected a bunch of dots for me
Lissypoo
We all know as soon as they cut gav was back in those twists. You cannot stop eating them until your mouth is raw from the saltiness. Speaking of which. Hawkins cheezies better be one of the days
mythicalJayde
It's so fun seeing Gavin react to classic Canadian snacks. I totally get what he means about twists, they're the salty packing peanut that you just can't stop munching. A childhood favorite.
Tan
That is the coolest snoopy yet paired with the most fun sounding hot sauce. And I haven’t even gotten to Geoff’s rips or Gav’s snicky snax
Garett Turbett Music
I hope Andrew gave Geoff some hockey cards. Then maybe I’ll understand what I’m looking at 😂
Lia DeKesthler
Sorry for the long explanation, Religious and Cultural History Major.
Lia DeKesthler
I have the answer to your 12 days of Christmas question. We celebrated it in my house growing up because of church but mainly because I would get over stimulated by opening gifts so we opened on a day until January 6th. December 1st till the 24th is the season of Advent, anticipation, counting down to the season of Christmas. Christmas starts on the 25th as the official first day of Christmas. It is celebrated for 12 days then ends at Epiphany on the 6th on January which is also known as 3 kings day, the day the 3 kings arrived to see Jesus. That is how the Christmas Holiday season that originates from the secular calendar inspired by the birth of Jesus's birth is set up, and where the 12 days of Christmas song gets it's inspiration. Of course how we celebrate the holiday in modern times gains inspiration from several different religious practices and there are several different ones around this time of year such as Hanukah, Kwanza and Yole or Yule as it's known now.

Geoff was so fkn funny in this one let's goo man
Brett
Can't believe Geoff said Burrow was a bad QB...thats CRAZY
sugarpuss
Nick breaking a sweat really shows how spicy that one was lol
CheapCulture
The Twists things sound like Korean Turtle Chips, or at least my relationship with them
Sarah Furger
Came here to say the same. Epiphany baby.
MuphCabage
Packing peanut are edible.
Kristyn Beard
12 drums 11 pipers 10 lords 9 ladies 8 maids 7 swans 6 geese
Stephen
Can confirm about caramel, instead of making caramel popcorn at Christmas, we use twists.
Nathan Sweatt
After that hot sauce, Andrew could probably use some "tooms"
FeliciaIsMaiWaifu
I love hearing Andrew's reactions to the sauces since he's not a heat person.
sparkbears
2:59 my favorite advent outro so far! I also like that there was another Snoopy diorama with a window in it and Eric's eye was outside as if he were a benevolent kaiju.
Riley Pearsall
10:19 was Geoff thinking of the legendary pokemon trainer Crunt Nugget?
Nicholas
The man show boy was the only good thing about the man show
cyanann
one of us, one of us
Spoon
The twelve days of Christmas are between Christmas Day and 3 kings, epiphany, etc. I.e. the twelve days between the birth of Jesus and when he was visited by the 3 kings. It actually makes a lot of sense
Clint Thunder
The Christmas album we had growing up was the 80s sesame street Christmas sing-a-long. I still listen to it every year & it really makes in Christmas for me
Daniel Brown
also only 5 INT iirc
Cirillios
Robbie Anderson isn't retired, he just got even crazier and changed his name to Robbie Chosen. He was with the Dolphins last year
I take a whiskey drink
Nick calmly reviewing the sauce while Andrew loses his mind in the background, will never not be funny. Thank you Andrew (and Andrew's mom) for this wonderful gift.
Krab is broke o7
Twists are the thing my dad loves to eat, so I definitely feel like they're an old people food. I think they also, usually, have directions on how to make caramel corn with them on the back of the bag? Which is insane to me, I imagine if you put them in caramel they would just melt like cotton candy in water
Atlas Hugged
It continues to baffle me how people know they're about to eat something spicy, and they go into it with water. I thought it was common knowledge that water is not helpful and that you want to bring milk if you need something to drink to temper the heat. I've known that since I was like 6 and no one in my family eats spicy food either.
Atlas Hugged
At this point I've just resigned myself to the fact that I will not get a free membership. These videos go up too early in the morning and I have a feeling a lot of them are getting picked up by bots that prowl the internet looking for free links.
Alec
So should the twelve days of Christmas actually be 742 days of Christmas?
Andrew Porth
Andrew’s “ohhhh” at 2:39 was sopranos worthy lol
Tails
Nick was sweating hard too haha
Tails
The funny thing is, Eric is actually correct, 12 days of Christmas does start on the 25th
Zae-Zae
Andrew, thank you so much for this. You bring happiness to your friends with the gifts, and happiness to the viewers by recording it. And you put your own tongue on the line, eating hot sauce when a few years ago you wouldn't even eat a pencil.
Sir Fishy
I'm not a football fan, my dad is a Jests fan but these past few years he's stopped watching. That being said I've had multiple Jests live in my neighbor, great people very friendly! One of them had a bounce house in his house for his kid
Michael Miniere
Andrews reaction to the extreme jalapéno sauce was all time and him trying to outro it from Nick to Eric is priceless😂 Respect for powering through it
Hamslice26
As a Jets fan I 100% agree on a weekly basis I wish there wasn’t a local team because being a jets fan is painful
Chad Jorgenson
Yeah, that sauce is quite warm and really sticks around. It was really good though, started off better than the garlic herb for me, then the extreme heat kicked in.
Cullain Herring
This advent calendar is really reminding me what day it is
DisneyGator
Even Nick's eyes were watering, so Andrew must have really suffered. And truly did not expect to find myself remembering The Man Show this morning.
Kyle Potter
Thankfully NY has 2 teams #GoBills❤️💙
Kyle
If anyone is curious, the 12 days of Christmas extend from Christmas until Epiphany on January 6th, which is a commemoration of when the wise men/kings from the east visited to worship and offer gifts to Jesus (two years old at the time)
Tritonon
The Joe Burrow disrespect, number 2 in PFF rankings. Leading the league in Yards, Completions, and TDs. The Bengals this year feel like Three men (Burrow, Chase, Hendrickson) trying their best while the rest of the team flounders around. If you reverse everyone one score game they are 10-2! Most of which were lost by the defense or a missed FG not Burrow failing to put the team into a winning position.
kempo95
Milk is very good at reducing the hotness.
Anthony
Uh oh... I just realised I just became a comment leaver...
Stryix
Thank you for setting this all up Andrew. This has been a nice little addition to my mornings.
Anthony
Yeah it goes by so quick, I did not think I'd get it, given how all my last attempts went haha
Azure Mage
Congrats. Missed it by a minute!
Anthony
Oh damn, didn't expect to get the membership. Got really lucky, thanks guys!
Mateo
Damn missed the link again. Good job whoever got it.
