Saw someone else say F**kFace was the preseason and I like that. As far as what seasons are what, I think its best to have no rhyme or reason. Whenever you guys feel a new season starts is best. Maybe this has been season 1 of Regulation and a new season needs to start. If that season blows then just quickly move onto another. The prospect of a 47 episode season followed by a 3 episode season and then like a reasonable 22 episode season sounds hilarious to me.

They also talked about it becoming season 98 during the summer of 98 stuff but I don't think there was a specific episode declared the cutoff nor did a specific ending of 98 they didn't really discuss seasons from then til fuck face ended

For regulation I don’t think there are seasons. If anything it should just be organized by year to keep it simple. If we want to make it complicated then doing it on the fly like FFace did is a funny bit. Seasons should really be determined by the guys during the episodes when it feels appropriate like FFace did

Minutes 1-20 of each episode: Season 1; 21-25 belong to Season 2; Season 3 contains all minutes in which a f**kfacing story is told; the last 10 minutes of each episode are obviously Season 5; Seasons 4, 6, and 7A are the third quarters of each episode, round-robin style; Minutes 26-37 are 7B; and Season 8 are the all the second-recordings-of-the-day episodes. Easy.

I'm thinking season 1 is all the even numbered episodes, season 2 is all the odd numbered episodes, season 3 is all the prime number episodes, season 4 is all the multiple of 11 episodes, and season 5 is just the episodes where they attempt to do the math to figure out which episodes are in which season.

I think seasons in scripted content ideally have there own stories and feeling that fit into the whole series, but stand on there own as well. Trying to predetermine seasons for unscripted content can make certain things cut off before they get good, and drag things out that should've ended sooner. I think deciding when seasons start and end on the fly is a fun bit, but also somehow makes it the most authentic way to find the best places to change seasons. I like they way that it was done with F**kFace a lot. I'm sure there are different ways to do it, but I think the spirit of it should be the same.

I agree with this, with a special emphasis that Season 4 starts halfway through episode 84. So S3 is 82-84.5, and S4 is 84.5 to 148. Wasn't there a contemplated Season 2022 also?

Easy answer: go by calendar year. Hard answer: one season equals 37 episodes unless there are at least three supplementals released in the span of 4 episodes only then does a season equal to 34 episodes.

If we're counting F**kface? Episode 1-40 is season 1. Season 2 is 41-81. Season 3: 82-84. Season 4: 84-124. Season 5: 125-157. Season 98: 157-178. Season 2-2: 179 till the end of F**kface? So 179-206. So if you take average season length you get somewhere around 30 so it could be time for a season change in Regulation Podcastland.

Episode 41 of F**leave was the first episode of season 2. Then it goes to 82 for the start of season 3, season 4 begins 3 episodes latest at 84 with the law gire. 124 was season 5, season 6 started in episode 139. Then we went into the summer of 98 in episode 157 and back to season 6 after the summer ended so around 173. Then regulation started and I have no idea where we are if it is season 7 or season 1. This is all just from quick googling and looking through Spotify, so I am probably wrong.

I think the brand change happened just before Summer right? So if Summer was Season 1 of RegPod, Autumn was S2, and we're in S3: Winter now. Soon we will be onto season 4 but I think after season 4 you get to go back to season 1 So some seasons have 12 episodes, some have 13. Occasionally you get a two part season finale - that makes sense
