I think andrew is trying to say that the point of the Bats Not Bats idea is that whatever the thing is, its most definitely NOT a bat, and Batman toes the line too closely between Bat and Not a Bat, and since Bruce Wayne is more definitively Just a Guy and NOT a Bat, he is more not-a-bat-bat-esque than Batman?

As Gavin said, I understood what he was saying but I don’t know why he was saying it. In the first place they are obviously one in the same, but from an outside perspective where you don’t know Bruce Wayne is Batman there is a 0% chance that you can think that Bruce Wayne is a bigger “bat guy” than the dude who dresses up as a giant bat, hangs upside down, lives in the bat-cave, drives the Batmobile, and glides through the night sky with bat wings. Bruce Wayne is a “billionaire playboy philanthropist”, not a bat guy

Merry Christmas from Scotland to the Regulation Crew and to all the Regulation Watchers and Listeners. This year has gone by so fast. From the sadness of losing RT to the excitement of realising it still lives on in some respect. To the shit I've been dealing with both in my personal and professional life. You've always been there, making me smile, laugh hysterically, cry uncontrollably, think about the world in some really weird ways. I like to think of Andrew and Gavin's brains going like a really fast level of Breakout or Tetris. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with. But it's always fun to watch. In one way or another y'all have been a positive in my life for over 20 years (gawd I'm old). Geoff, I've been skulking around since the early days of RT and you have been a constant. A constant source of joy and comedy and creativity and inspiration. And humanity. Sarsaparilla is like the grandfather of root beer, there is a difference taste wise but not that big of one. I’m not from Austin but I’ve had good luck with getting them at BevMo. Andrew continues to be such a gem. I was sorta understanding what he says, even sort of agreeing with him but as he tried to explain it more, I just got confused and found his take pretty insane. For vampires, it depends on the type imo. This is for both the turn into a bat and for consuming only blood to survive. I usually read the description before listening since it gives me a highlight reel of the content coming my way. It’s not that hard to just not jerk it for a week or more. Happy holidays to all my fellow regulation listeners and to you give for providing great content week after week.

How Gavin described the communal soda fountain is kind of how the random vending machines you'll see in Japan work. Someone in my old neighborhood did it. An apartment building or neighborhood group will go in on a vending machine together. Depending on where you live you can make a profit, but generally it's mostly just uses by the locals.
