For a brief time there was a Crepe place about a quarter mile from where I worked, and at least once a week my friends and I would either get lunch there or go there after work for crepes. It was called “For Goodness Crepes”. I miss that place it was great and cheap as hell 😔

For me merch comes down to usability vs decoration. Decorations are more likely to be risky I think. I'm 35 years olds with a wife who decorates the house. I don't have places for falcon signs but cups are functional and I use it.

Really disappointment black is off the table now. It is literally the only color I wanted from the start of the Gurpler. I wish black had small drops every once in a while and other wacky colors were LE. Black is your brand color and feels like should be the product everyone has the chance to get. It should be the base level merch.

Im hope that we can get a way to be able to order things not available even if it takes longer to get them. I just got into my own place and feel ok with buying stuff where as before I felt like even a spare few bucks was too much on something non essential. Now that RT is gone I finally am an adult and have spare money what a kick in the teeth, I spent years just hoping one day I could buy a people like grapes shirt I hope to get a gurp sooner. Next should be a gurp with a lid and straw. Call it the gurp slurp package 😹

Tbh if I had a calm class that block I may have considered it lol, I’m glad you were able to make it work. But that block of 8th graders, still high off of lunch time, was not one to sit idly. Wish it had been in the middle of a test day or something I guess.

I really appreciate the offer, it really brightened the end of a rough day. But I would feel bad taking one from someone who got the chance to get at one. This world is stressful, and you deserve to enjoy the products you purchased! At the very least, I know that there are plenty of community members more deserving than I. Again, I am very touched by the offer, this community is amazing. Honestly I was just hoping that in the future the guys might consider changing up the sale time, or perhaps staggering the releases so that maybe a few drop later in the day (I know that would delay shipping, but might allow more access for people with fixed schedules). I know they are trying their best, and are a small operation, just seen enough others (plus myself) run into this issue that it may be worth considering.

Was a bit rough hearing “Mission Success guys, we don’t have to worry about selling these anymore” as a person who works a normal weekday shift, when they only ever sell them in the middle of a shift. Can’t exactly tell the students “hey wait a sec guys, I gotta go buy a big ass cup”. It is what it is, and I’m glad yall can celebrate a resounding success. Just wish there was some way to ensure everyone gets a chance before unfurling the George Bush style “Mission Accomplished” banner.

They've stated multiple times that they want to keep the time between us giving money and them providing a product as short as possible. Pre-orders introduce too many potential problems and I think legally it's extra work and complications for them.

I don’t know if this has been said this way already but no scrumping seems like more of a podcast related thing whereas protected by Falcons seems more like a your friend group thing that became a podcast thing if that makes sense. The scrump sign has its origin completely in the podcast and developed naturally over multiple episodes and ties into the whole apple saga. Where is the falcon thing which kind of introduced as its own Thing already kind of made I don’t know if I’m explaining this well enough.

Having them last over 10 minutes would be quite nice. Personally I had work things to do when the merch drop happened wasn't free until 30 minutes in and happy for the folks that got it but would like to get me one and a no scrumping one day. Already got me a falcon sign though.

My wife really wanted to get me a gurp for Valentine's day but she kept reloading the site and the gurpler didn't show up for sale until 5 after and it said sold out before she could buy. I understand limited budget but maybe monthly drops would get closer to the right amount. If it sells out in less than an hour it feels like it's too few units, I would argue that if it sells out in 24 hours then that's almost enough.
