Since we had so much going on this morning and had a lengthy chaotic Mario Party stream we won't be streaming in the evening today. With that said if you weren't able to see the insane Mario Party match it will be up on Tuesday as a VOD.

If I remember correctly, this is exactly what was said originally.... Though at the time I don't think they expected 9,000 gurps to be sold in a towel of 13 minutes (4 for the original 4,000 and 9 for the next 5,000) which is honestly an absolute fuck ton of Gurplers. They never expected how big this community truly is, which is a good problem to have. There may never be enough Gurplers to keep the store filled... Ever.

finally got a gurp and no scrump sign. already received shipping notices also (just the label printed but sometimes it takes places a week or more to do that much, this happened within hours!) I fully support 10k for the next release! also a weekend drop even though I work weekends 😁 too many people miss out because of work 🫤

Sounds like the drop went great. Congrats to the boys & all who got merch. ! I sat this one out, as I got a Gurpler last time. I'm sure the boys will eventually get the stocking issues worked out. I get not wanting to sit with thousands of items of product, while trying to have some sort of excess, is an EXTREMELY hard process.

I bowed out at the shipping to Europe I just couldn't justify the $50 for just the gurp and I already have the shirt but was easy knowing it meant someone else desperate got one instead. I could be wrong but I belive that is the idea they just don't have the ability to order in large enough quantities at the money. Geoff has stated on several episodes that his intention is to have gurplers in stock at all times going forward so that anyone can get one, they just aren't in a place yet where they can do that.

I want to make a suggestion and I don't know the right place. Maybe the black Gurpler should continue to be restocked as the Regulation Regulation Gurpler? I mean, it's smoke black. It makes sense. People will always miss out on a drop and as you introduce new colors in the future you're going to run into the same again and again with each release. Maybe commit to always restocking a Regulation Regulation Gurpler then continue to run somewhat more limited runs of specialty colors? Because I like the idea and fun of collecting some different more limited run Gurps (I am a proud owner of a Gurple fade Gurp) just like the fun and rarity of certain baseball cards, but I don't think anybody should be excluded from ever getting one either. And things get in the way of these launches for a lot of folks, like life and stuff. Anyway, this isn't meant to be judgemental, I think y'all are doing great and it's clear the love you have for fans. Just wanted to throw my 2¢ out there. I think it's an opportunity more than anything and fits with the theme of the podcast.
