Some people reported running into a bug where it jumped from one scene to another unexpectedly. If this has happened to you, please re-download as the issue should now be fixed.

Sorry you’re running into that issue. There are a couple of potential work arounds. Firstly, if you are launching via the RenPy launcher, it will not work using RenPy 8. It will need to be launched with RenPy 7. If you are not launching that way, please see if the below helps. You need to add execute rights to the start file INSIDE the app: 1. open a terminal 2. type chmod +x and then DRAG the app from the Finder to the terminal, the path + app will be filled in automatically 3. continue with typing /Contents/MacOS/TheSevenRealms 4. press enter The full command will sort of look like this : chmod +x /TheSevenRealms.app/Contents/MacOS/TheSevenRealms If there is no feedback , all is good. Close the terminal. After that, right click once on the game and select OPEN. Close the error message and do the same thing again. You can now select OPEN in the message and the game will start. From now on, you no longer need to do the right-click. For some reason, games can be a bit weird on Mac sometimes due to restrictions by Apple, but hopefully this should resolve it. Please let me know if it doesn’t!
