Bit of a hodge podge of a video today. The very short Mercedes saga is finally over. I had all kinds of ideas of what to do with this car, and I gave up on all of them. I'd rather sell it and use the money for a down payment on something new. And now I don't deal with it anymore!

722.6 gearboxes are notorious for leaking from the electrical connector. Almost guarantee that’s the issue. I realise you’ve sold it back, but just incase it helps anyone else out

I seem to recall you saying at some point that the coda is the least reliable car you own, bearing in mind that you also own a trabant, a yugo, a reliant robin, and a (non-functional) wheego life. Would you say the mercedes took that title from the coda?

That is an awful story. Definitely a nightmare scenario. And yes, you do spy a blue Yugo, but it is anything but nice

I have PTSD from the smell of burning coolant. Bought a $1500 mid-80s diesel Merc off Marketplace, four hours away from home. Grenaded the engine two hours into the return trip and turned into a smoke machine. it would've cost me more in labor and towing than it was really worth, so I left it on the side of the road and gave the title to the tow guy.
