brilliant freakin chapter! Love love love the build-up to Sera

I know it probably doesn't seem like it right now, but this little story arc involving Sera will come to matter, and be relevant to the bigger plot. I don't usually do side quests (which is a funny way to think about it - made me smile).

Not the OP, but this whole Sera side quest just feels unnecessary what with the other unmarried women he already has. Instead of this we could have more Wren relationship, or dealing with the Grif situation.

I really feel like Allister's current crop of women doesn't get enough of his attention without adding him with Sera. It just seems like a Canto Blight. An unnecessary side quest when something more important coukd be done. Id much rather a deepening of the bond with Wren, orsolving the Grif issue.

1. Round up everyone that sings the song, out them through the Queen's trial, they can even become king/Queen if they best the Queen's record, and the last one remaining, after a short celebration, has to do it again for at least as long as they did the first time around.

Glad to hear it! Even just simple comments like these are really encouraging! (Lately, very few people have been commenting on the Combat Healer chapters, and I'm not sure why.)

1. Sylvia implied that she had a plan/idea that might be promising, and your thoughts on the possibility of 'what her plan is' was what I was wanting to know. 2. Yeah, might be one of the most intense steamy scenes I end up doing for this series. 3. There will be more elaboration on what his perspective is (Sera will eventually disclose info that is insightful).

@Moi465 When I do a recap, it is almost always an 'addition' to the chapter. So let's say the chapter was 6500 words, and I did a 1000 word recap, then it ends up being 7500 words. The recap never is sacrificing content. Often, recap chapters are like 8000+ words, because the recap is a 'bonus.'

Appreciated, I hate recaps. You look forward and wait for a new chapter/episode and you get a recap. Not fun to experience.

1. What plan? They said they were going to plot, and that the queen has been through worse. 2. Sera is going to get a weinering of a lifetime, with Val's possible eventual inclusion. 3. Not really, Val's dad seems to more go with the flow given his understanding which surprises the mc, and the kids seem to annoy him a little.

Also, if you feel like I'm dragging it out, then what specific events are you hoping to happen soon? As in, what do you feel like is being delayed?

This will end up being the first chapter of Book 6, and I was trying to setup the plot of the next few chapters 'without' doing a lengthy recap. Next week's chapter will likely be a lot more interesting if you found this one much less so.
