Stationmaster 1.1 "The Unclusterfuckening" Released
🕑 Added 2020-09-13 15:34:01 +0000 UTCThis is out through Itch.IO, so anyone who has Stationmaster 1.0 should be able to get it from there (if you use the desktop client, it should update automatically).
Changelog:
- Fixed a bug that caused NPC's to be naked in the station view.
- Fixed a bug that caused skin textures to fail (particularly on the Speaker) .
- Probably fixed a bug that could cause a softlock when entering the slave market during the tutorial (A kind user provided a log, and I used that to reenforce the code, but I still don't fully understand what was going wrong).
- Training no longer causes obedience and fear to become un-rounded in slave inspection.
- Removed option to kill yourself and rebuild yourself as a doll.
- Fixed a bug that caused several display glitches for the PC in the station view.
- Removed option to "Inspect slaves" after conquest if no slaves were gathered.
- Fixed a bug that completely broke the "RA Exempt" checkbox on the slave list.
- The rules assistant now applies all applicable rules immediately when closed.
- Removed loading screen text that referenced the restaurant.

Lag when talking to some characters
I was able to replicate this occasionally, but Unity's performance tools no longer work on Stationmaster, and that gives me limited options for finding this. I think the fix for the slave market soft lock might have helped though, because I haven't seen it since I implemented that.
Ball gag stretching
This is part of the mess that is the character engine. I'm going to leave the gags in because they sort of work, but the graphical strangeness is here to stay.

I cant find the game on Itch.io :(

I think the easiest way is to check the tourists on the station view. If they have clothes, you're running 1.1

How can I tell which version I have installed?
Just found the fix myself, go to the July 27th post by SM and click the "linking your account" link. It'll ask for permission to do whatever in partnership with Patreon, then you can download whichever version you want (Windows, Apple, Linux). No need to download the Itch client. Downloading it right now, hopefully it's an easy update with no additional steps. Thanks for your hard work, SM, much love :D

I also found that the weight gain slider broke again.
StationmasterDev
I might've broken it (though I don't see how...). Added to the list for 1.2.

Do the planet policies no longer tell you what they do? Is that intended?

Thanks for trying to help moonslashx but the only page I have found with the itch client is trying to charge me $30, it has no download link for patreons, he needs to post a direct link that can be either downloaded to the users pc or copy and pasted into the itch client.

I found it by going under my profile in patreon then selecting apps, then clicking the Itchio link which let me add it to my library on Itchio

I only downloaded the itch client yesterday I have searched for your game using text and their links no sign of stationmaster anywhere. As I said the only mention I found was through google and that was to a page where I had to pay thirty dollars or euro's whatever it was, either way there in no way I'm going to pay for it on itch as well as patreon. I have just rechecked the patreon email that doesn't contain the link to the download so I must have got that from your patreon page which you have not reposted. I even tried copying your game into the itch folder but itch couldn't find it when I searched the folder using the client unless rebooting my system would have let it find it. You need to post a direct download link to where we won't be recharged as, as it stands itch is totally useless.

I think the same Itch link should work if you log in with your account. If you get the client, you'll also get automatic updates (and they'll be much smaller; about 15MB instead of 7GB).

You need to provide a direct download link. I downloaded v1.0 from itch or where ever you had it at the time and run it from a file on my ssd. I didn't even know the itch app existed and the only mention I found of your game on itch was by looking on google and that is a pay link which isn't going to happen as I joined your patreon. Sorry but you've made a proper clusterfuckening of making your game easy to get for everybody.
