I'm so with you on the damn phones. My husband's a photographer and he's the same with a camera - if he doesn't get a photo of it, it's like it didn't happen. Just put the fucking thing down and experience actual life for once. And we know Niall hates them - he's made that clear.

one thing that I'll add about those two performances is sure the phones might've played a part, but too much to ask was earlier in his solo career when in general he seemed more nervous in his performances but like late 2018/2019 is when he started being a lot more confident in my opinion and dear patience was november 2020
