It’s been a few days since the release of the new major update, and I want to thank all of you for the amount of feedback you sent my way. As many of you noticed, the new character designs sparked some mixed reactions. That’s totally fine — changing art direction is always a delicate step, and I fully expected a wide range of opinions.
In the end, I have to make the call that keeps the game consistent and future-proof… but don’t worry: If some of you miss a certain type of girl from the older style, I plan to introduce more characters in upcoming updates. You won’t run out of waifus — I promise, hehe.
I’ll also be polishing a few of the existing scenes — improving animations, expressions, and especially the dialogue. I want the girls’ personalities to come through more strongly, with clearer emotions, better flow, and more immersive interactions.
I’m already deep into the next batch of content, and it’s going to be a spooky one (Yes, I know...Halloween is over, but I really wanted to revive the Graveyard area first).
The plan is to release v0.4.1 within this year — and most likely before Christmas!
