AR was invented in the 60s idk man

Ruben Garcia

Black people 😂😂

Jason Lewis

AR is the only fully automatic weapon gotcha 👍🙏

Derek Eastep

your right if its a small group but not if tens of millions of people were fighting

MySelf69

thank you for this comment

Sam Portelance

All these people talking about how they need guns to protect themselves from the government… the American military is the most advanced fighting force in human history. One of the guys even brought up drones. If a group seriously tried armed resistance they’d get drone-bombed from the stratosphere. Militaristic resistance against the United States is just laughable

Lauren V

"unborn womens rights" smh anti-abortionists are so retarded.

Fair_Pie

“Youd have to be a really good, uh, knife guy” very eloquent andrew

Ty Fleischut

"that sucks dude" just so done with the guy hahaha

benny le' santo

14:44 TOM HANKS

Oliver Plikh

Bruh

jJay

3:55 okay guy.....It's pretty American to say "Why are we the only country that has to deal with shootings" hahahahahah many countries deal with shootings but don't have the luxury and time to protest gun legislation like in America....You cannot compare American gun laws with any other countries.....5:33 is correct

Torin D

HEY LOOK A SPACE ALIEN

DrankDropea76

The ethical and logical people saying "I'm always armed at protests but no people shouldn't x gun", spouting that Marx said we should arm the proletariat but doing so with ARs is too far? It is all or nothing you can't be Antifa/ACAB/Anarchistic and want structured law enforcement.

DrankDropea76

Brother say less, we get it you don't know anything about the constitution or guns.

DrankDropea76

Brother doesn't know the definition of an assault rifle.

Dijon John

The lunatics are on one side here. The kids sounded a million times more ethical/logical, than the idiotic/insane NRA supporters lol.

Dijon John

Controlling recoil and firing fast, is much easier with an AR. The round also has a lot more penetrative power as well; meaning it can pass through bone/tissue, and still be lethal. The Vegas shooting was the most deadly mass shooting in American history, and it would not have been possible with a bunch of pistols/shotguns. The main issue causing these events is our laxed gun laws. Mental illness exists all around the world, yet we are the only developed country with so many mass shootings. Making it more difficult to buy a assault rifle, is common sense gun regulation. ARs should not be so easy for a mentally ill 18 year old to purchase. We are well aware that there are hundreds of thousands of ARs floating around America right now. That doesn't mean we should do nothing though. Making it more difficult for mentally ill kids to buy these sorts of weapons, is something that should have been done years ago. We are not simply anti-gun, we are anti-mass shootings. Your pro-gun "agenda", in the face of all of the recent mass shootings, says a lot about how much people like you value human life.

MrSavvy

Yellow mustard is better.

MrSavvy

A 5.56 and .45 will both kill people. These shooting are taking place in <25yd areas, bullet travel isn't a factor. Sure, kinetic energy comes into play and makes a difference. But I'm not saying AR's aren't slightly more deadly than pistols. Also, good luck trying to ban AR's. There's too many in circulation already. I only have long rifles and shotguns but everybody and their mom has an AR nowadays. You're missing my point entirely and focusing only on one part of my comment. All of you are. Keep pushing your anti-gun agenda all you want and ignore one of the main issues causing these events.

Dijon John

You can use a semi-automatic hunting rifle to shoot wild boar. Killing wild boar more efficient, shouldn't trump human life.... It is sad that this needs to be said.

Dijon John

This isn't true at all. There is a reason why people choose these weapons for mass shootings. Assault rifles often large magazines and are chambered in calibers that are very effective at killing humans. My hunting rifle would be a lot less effective in a mass shooting event. My shotgun would be a lot less effective in a mass shooting event. My pistols would a lot less effective in a mass shooting event. Owning a Assault Rifle should be limited to those with a class 3 weapons license. They do not need to be in the hands of everyday Americans.

Dijon John

This is a false equivalency argument. A pistol round has a lot less energy than a rifle round. A shotgun shell is much more bulky, and slugs/pellets don't carry nearly as far. People choose assault rifles to commit these murders for a reason. It's funny how people argue that they need these weapons to fight a tyrannical government. Then turn around and downplay just how deadly these weapons are.

Nat G

Jenny Holzer installation rolled by at 0:30.

Hunter Nance

Is that the guy that said he caught EDP? Cause I had watched a few of his predator catcher videos in the past and I remember him just being insanely homophobic.. which like, yeah, these peopel should be berated for what they're doing but you're berating them for the completely wrong thing? I think there's a few good channels on YT that do the same thing and help kids with what they're doing but his had so many red flags and made him seem like a huge freak

shampooflasks

Giving more rights to people based on land ownership is very short sighted, and a quick way to strengthen class divide. Kind of also directly plays into the whole 2nd ammndmnt "justification" too

Joe Hockley

There are crazy people all over the world, not just the US. School shootings only seem to happen in the US tho. Gee I wonder why? I wonder what the common denominator is here… hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Nancy

You provided a great example of why maybe someone would require a rifle or a have work/hobby related experience, that requires an automatic weapon. I imagine people whose actual jobs require them weapon use, know the proper way of shooting a gun or how to have it stored and secured. I don't disagree with that logic at all. In fact, when we look at countries who don't have issues with mass shootings, they seem to do one of 2 things with gun regulation/education. Either their citizens are required to serve and thus going through gun training. Meaning they receive guided education and have extensive screening after discharge. Making most of their population educated on gun safety. And still have strict ownership laws. OR they have multiple background checks and testing, where people requesting gun ownership, have to prove they know proper ways of handling/storing a gun or prove that they are a hobbyist or job required reason, and provide proof of owning the proper storage equipment. www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/how-do-u-s-gun-laws-compare-to-other-countries I think that second process/regulation is reasonable.

Alex N

Yeah absolutely. Apologies, I misspoke -- guns were only banned during Trump's speech at the NRA convention. But the same logic applies -- if guns aren't the problem, why would you need to ban them to protect someone? https://www.npr.org/2022/05/25/1101181842/nra-trump-speech-guns-banned-houston

Alex N

A friend of mine recently suggested that peoples' land should be taken into consideration. For example, if you have x amount of acres of land and can justify the need to have said weapons, then you apply for/are granted a special permit to own them. Contrarily, Joe Blow living in apartment 2A with zero land should not be able to own multiple military grade firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, etc. Sure, some people may have legitimate needs for this. But it's unfair and unwise to grant them all the same privileges. Now Joe Blow in apartment 2A has Coloradian ranchers defending his "right" to own these weapons.

Alex N

You're absolutely correct, That is a beautiful aspect of Andrew's reporting, although incredibly frustrating at times. I know that if he took it one step further to press them with questions like these, they would crumble and not have an answer. But to your point, Andrew does a great job at remaining nonpartisan which I really appreciate because it brings an unfiltered view into the minds of people I vehemently disagree with.

Michael Williams

just answering the second question based off what i know from many of the farmers and ranchers in my area in North Texas, Feral Hogs which come in packs, multiply by a lot and quickly are horrid in Texas so most people who hog hunt to keep their land safe from them ruining fields and crops use the AR-15 to kill them, granted thats Law Abiding Citizens using the Rifle for a reason, But there is a problem when that same tool is in the hands of a evil soul who wants to do harm intent and I agree that there is a problem there because the hogs can be substituted with human bodies, I really enjoy your 3rd question in why the Red Flags are not being raised when someone makes all these major purchases in the same week because that should defiantly raise flags and make the system red flag it for Hold so there is a problem within the system there, also i should add i am pro guns but i also know when theres a problem it needs to be addressed along with many things in this country that do not get addressed and im afraid we live with a government no matter what party it is that will never look at helping the people of this country, This is a talking point to them for a short time until the next talking point topic comes about then they will shift and so on they care about one thing and thats a VOTE FOR THEM, but addressing problems needs to start at the local government and work its way to state then federal for any changes to be made in reality and thats a sad thing when its something that needs addressed quickly in america. I wish we lived in a better world then we do with less evil intent people out there thats for sure.

Lindsay Jacob Brown

your forth question is genius if that happened but google won't confirm it. got a link?

luis katterbach

i absolutelz get from where you are coming from and i agree with you, but thats not the questions andrew should ask, he is one of the only reporters i know which actually asks non confrontational questions, and thats what journalism should be all about. Because i wanna hear their honest take so that i can disagree with it. There is no use in a reactionary response made out of emotion, but rather there is a rational response to a honest question, like when he asked the 66 year old, how should we go back to traditioanal family values, so you actually get an insight to the person

Alex N

These pro-gun / 2A / NRA stans are moronic. I wish Andrew would ask them this: If your Second Amendment protects the right to own and carry a high-capacity, high caliber military grade rifle such as an AR-15, then why doesn't it protect your right to carry a fully automatic rifle such as an AK-47 or 63? Or more destructive weapons like a machine gun or RPG? Hmm, it's almost as if there's limitations to the Second Amendment.. Second question: why does ANYBODY need a high caliber rifle with 30-100 rounds? Why? If not to kill mass numbers of people, then why do you need it? Magazines on all firearms should be limited to 6 rounds, IMO. Third question: why should any Joe Blow be able to buy multiple military-grade firearms, body armour, and thousands of rounds of ammo in the same week? If not to kill mass numbers of people, then why do you need it? Fourth question: If guns aren't the problem, why did the NRA ban them from their convention after Uvalde?

Jackson Morgan

This is cultural insanity 😫😭

Dathan Atkinson

Andrew is checking people and I love it!!!

mickeymouse420

Banning magazines over certain number is better, assault weapons are just as deadly as many handguns. The reality is that there is a self defense culture that isn't going anywhere any time soon

H Dawg

What ar15 throws four hundred rounds per minute? Or did you mean an actual assault rifle that is fully automatic, and already highly regulated?

mickeymouse420

An AR isn't necessarily more deadly than any other standard firearm. I mean, I really do fail to see that point there. Definitely need less guns in circulation and much higher age minimum. That dude was right about videogames and desensitization

Junior Chrysler

Shout out to the young marxists at the beginning, good idea putting some level headed youth at the head of the vid

Waldo

im honestly dissapointed they let chet talk for that long ngl. he went to my college in texas this semester & was harassing people at a festival happening on campus & was being insanely homophobic & transphobic.

Brett Venable

orrrr we could just get rid of assault weapons lol fuckin crazies

Mole Herron

As an Australian I really don’t understand why your whole country can’t be a gun free zone. We had a mass shooting in Australia 1996 we cracked down extremely heavily on gun laws now we haven’t had a mass shooting since. Personally I can’t even comprehend the possibility that when I went to school I could have gotten shot, even though there are troubled kids who if they had access to a gun there would have been a possibility they used it.

MrSavvy

I believe the violent incidents are more caused by the state of healthcare in America today. Guns are tools. If it weren't AR's it'd be pistols and shotguns like before the AR ages. Focus on the root of the problem and fixing it. The individual.

Viktor Drobyshevskiy

The NRA guys are so calm and reasonable...

Viktor Drobyshevskiy

The iq between the first two interviewees must total a solid 25

T Nomad

Hey gotta say, the youtube preview was a great idea. I'm not always checking the patreon, so it's great to see something pop up on youtube to let me know something's been posted.

CL

The cognitive dissonance of these pro-gun guys is crazy. There should be a counter of how many times they say "It doesn't matter." It just shows they don't care about the facts and they just want their boom-boom toys.

becca something

Oh my god I knew that was Chet Goldstein what the fuck

David Haddad

Loser argument: places that have strict gun laws have more guns violence. More realistic argument: places that have a violence (including gun violence) require more gun laws. People are bad at causation and correlation.

Lennon McCartney

"I'm not a big GAMER" ya don't say

Nathan E Simpson

Also for... 5 grand? To essentially become a paramilitary operator

Malik Baker

first it was comic books back in the day, then cartoons. they're clearly just grasping on to whatever they can

Alwaysunnymac

this guy in the red champion shirt spittin' hard facts and then he goes and brags on catching the (innocent!) EDP445 on a fake 15 y/o account with his obese fingers tapping away. gross!

Kevin Fitzpatrick

"Making laws for the masses for the sins of a few" What a dipshit. That's why murder is illegal. And about a thousand other things...

PowerfulDragon

HTINE

Nick

Never been happier to not live in the USA.

Maple Rowe

Theres a lot of unhinged people in this country ://

Michael O'Toole

That caught my attention too, MLK was pro life but I think the guy just assumed since Rosa Parks was deeply religious she would be too. But it is funny that the most basic google search of Rosa Parks verifies she was not.

Mark Heijblok

@Jack Brehmer: Thank you for your reply. As a complete outsider from America I'm amazed how America works. I fully understand the whole point of arming yourself if there are paramilitary militia in your state. I will do the same if this was happening in the Netherlands.

DazedDingo

It's very obvious that everyone spouting statistics about "societies in other countries" have no working experience of other countries.

Milja Pukkila

Ah, I was waiting for someone to go "videogames are the reason"... didn't have to wait for long. Imagine trying to pin the blame on virtual entertainment as opposed to horrible gun control laws. USA is a developing country, and Americans are the only people who think they're at the top of the world. It's just sad.

Electrosync

"The box is gonna be worth more than the pillow". Copy your receipts y'all!

katrina

So not all men with big signs alone on the street are randomly crazy....just half of them

BIG VIBES

under armour drip

Nicholas

that my pillow belt is swag (and a good investment)

Terence O'Kane

"we already have background checks" wow I wonder where those background checks were in Tulsa two days ago where the shooter bought a gun 3 HOURS BEFORE HE KILLED 4 PEOPLE

Matthew Hammond

I think you’re right to be skeptical of anyone saying that no ARs means no major shootings, but I think there is a debate to be had on ARs. I like the car/license comparison people make. Cars and pistols are deadly, but have healthy use cases. But what do you compare an AR to? You can’t drive a spiked up monster truck built to flatten and kill 20 people at a time, so do we need better limits for rifles?

MC

That first NRA guy just parroted every talking point. The right wing propaganda machine is so effective, and these people are oblivious to it

Sally Smith

I was thrown off when the guy said the thing about Rosa Parks being pro-life and so I fact checked it and found 2 articles (one from NBCNews lmao) talking about how she literally served on Planned Parenthood's board in the 80's. I want to know how he got the impression that she was pro-life lmao

Dan

Well, as Andrew points out, if you are a pretty good knife guy, you could do a lot of damage

Matthew Hammond

It makes more sense when you’re talking about having arms for a militia that protects democracy when there is a tyrannical ruler with power over the military. But you’re right, 1 man is not going to survive long in any circumstance. In fact, you’re best odds for survival and justice via other sympathetic citizens would probably be if you were unarmed and then assaulted.

Charles C Kilbourne

The "no family" thing is a classic attack used against black people. That's why he was so quick to start trying to steer the conversation to Chicago

Brian

I can't believe you found the MyPillow guy's best friend out there

W Milly

"Need a gun to protect myself against a tyranical govt." -> tyranical govt. lets you have gun and shoot each other. America is a death cult, so sad to see from a place that successfully had a gun reform and not a mass shooting since. I pray for my American brothers and sisters!

Ryan Michael Wheeler

Haha you guys interviewed the Ya-BOY JDQ guy. He's garbage.

Popshots

🐸

Niles Hlavacek

Appreciate you getting down for the protest and conference, hope you had a decent time here. Not canceling the NRA conference after the shooting was just, bizarre.

Christopher Vietti

Anyone else about to Yeet their life savings on the my pillow classic in a box from wal mart? (Save the receipts though, make copies if you have to)

LiL Genetics

Old man in the Yellow hat the best.

Jack Brehmer

You very obviously don’t understand what’s going on in America right now. There’s Christi-fascist paramilitary groups in my state that are armed as much as the police. The police also have an incredibly large overlap amongst their ranks. Owning a gun in America (for people who aren’t fudds and chuds ie. threepers) isn’t about some fantasy of overthrowing the government, but protecting you family, neighbors, or community in the even in which the state no longer offers the protection or stability that it once granted or at least provided the illusion of.

Urdnot Wrex

we dont need NRA for guns, we need a DMV for guns.

Michael T

I agree. Pay teachers more! They deserve it and it's the number one easy way to improve America.

Michael T

I think you should do an episode, naw a whole series, where you investigate what kind of crazy weaponry you can buy legally or on the black market easily. How GTA5 can you get in 'Merca? What it the barrier to entry here?

FrivolousExamination

People want to own a gun because it makes them feel good and safe, not because it actually makes them safer. You are up to five times more likely to be shot by a gun if you own one. It comes down to feeling safe vs being safe. People (in general) make decisions based on their feelings, not data that actually might save their and their community's lives. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2759797/

Thomas O'Halloran

Holy shit! You found the Pillow guy who got his sign stolen AND you asked him about the pillows! Incredible stuff as always, keep on raising the bar for journalism

Pete TNT

Lost your crypto? Mike Lindell's MyPillow boxes are an investment that will only go up!

Tim Weber

Hats my man Gordon Flowers!

Li Reid

*Andrew facepalm* "that SUCKS man..." Nuff said

Barefoot Farmer

These fucking braindead old republicans still blaming every damn problem on the "family." They've been using this line to push religious nonsense to the forefront of every single fuckin issue. Many republican voters seem to have no idea how anything actually works on a macro scale. They seriously think that the answer is that everyone should just go to church and do everything they do and it will all get resolved through Jesus. "When I was a kid..." it's the only fucking thing you hear these people say. When you were a kid there was lead in everything and Jim Crow laws were still super prevalent. So sick of these dumb fucks and the stupid nostalgia lenses they view everything through.

Patrick

Scary innit

Patrick

Qua-LIT-y journalism once again from the finest mob out there

Benjamin Glover

texas having a normal one

Michael O'Toole

The only thing better than edp getting exposed was how collectively every one was like “thanks for doing that but you’re a piece of shit too, now go away”.

Nicole Schwartz

Right?!! I imagine it would go something like: “We’ll pay you properly if you promise to bounty hunt for us in your ‘spare time’ - oh, and any child lost on your watch will result in a deduction to your pay” 🙄

Nicole Schwartz

These stats are similar in Australia & New Zealand as well. I bet they’re pretty close in a lot of western countries in general. But this requires them to think outside of the FB memes they use to indoctrinate I mean educate each other.

Mark Heijblok

As someone living in the Netherlands I am always wondering WHY people need an assault rifle? The most common answer is to defend yourself if the government can no longer be trusted. But how does this work out? You shoot your AR at the police/army (who may be wearing bulletproof vests)? And then what? You die in a hail of bullets coming from their side?

bitbat9

I agree that gun reform and not an outright ban is the way to go. I should have worded my comment better. I just feel like I see so many people saying AR-15s or “assault weapons” need to be banned. They act like once they’re banned school shootings will stop when that’s clearly not the case.

Joe Hockley

Gun reform doesn't mean banning guns it means needing to do more than exist to get one

Milky Cologne

Started buying a couple guns for home defense a few months ago. I’ve ended up with 3 so far. Two for home defense and 1 for carrying. I live in a pretty safe part of the US, but honestly with everything that’s been happening I was like “well I guess I should be strapped too”. Plus i work in a cash only business so having the strap from work to the car just gives a weird false sense of protection that I can’t totally wrap my head around yet. It does help ease the mind a bit, weirdly enough. You literally have a killing tool pointed at your giblets or thigh, depending on your carry. Feels fuckin weird and powerful all in the same breath. God forbid I ever have to use the fucker, but still. I will say though, background checks are fucking bs. I was under the impression that when I purchased a handgun it would take like 5 days or so for them to get my check done. Homie straight up says “nah bro it’ll take like 15 mins, it doesn’t go too deep.” From my understanding it pretty much just clarifies that your 1. “A Gottdamn Amreecan” 2. You aren’t wanted and/or a felon and 3. You aren’t a habitual drug user or alcoholic (due to arrest, so a felon) With 3 they pretty much just take your word on. It was literally quicker for my AR lol These foo’s being like “Well we already went through our background check” I don’t think realize or give a shit that your job or landlord does a more in depth check on your ass than the gun store or what have yoh. At that point I was like, yeah judging by how fuckin easy it is to snag a piece, I should probably get some more cause some other crazy fucks probably have the jump on me in quantity and use lol. Here I am now enjoying watching this. Nice.

n64jerry

I love Channel 5

Patrick Straker

Truly so upsetting to see, as an American I feel so helpless. I'm in Rome on a vacation right now and I almost feel unsafe coming back to the shooting capital of the world, I see a new article on a new shooting every couple days

Pete

zooming in on the reflection of andrew in the NRA guys sunglasses around 5:30 is comedy gold

Quil_

I love Channel 5

Thibault Tresca

"it is what it is" wildest take on a mass shooting of children

bitbat9

Banning AR-15s won’t do anything. The majority of gun violence in the US is committed with handguns and I don’t see anyone advocating for them to be banned. One of the deadliest mass shootings in the country was committed with 2 handguns (Virginia Tech). The only solution would be to ban all guns but that just isn’t realistic in America.

Bryan Naylor

Channel 5 I know y'all are gonna be tuning this shit to be tight tight tight just some thoughts Good use of media cuts - would be funny to have a tally of interviewees saying yes or no to banning guns/assault rifles Good luck on getting interviews from nra officials or other political figures Interview 1: great bite sized content from man and woman showing more tact Interview 2: leading questions but important points about lobbying representatives Interview 3: sick. Keep this clean. Wished the security guard didnt step on it Interview 4: this guy seems pretty sensible regarding what he believes love the cuts and love that lady who said "redrick" Interview 5: old man was nice respite from the loud red shirt man Interview 6: cut out the crosswalk part and stick with the dude who stuck around (really good knife guy haha but unnecessary) Interview 7: my pillow man is gold hope to see him again Interview 8: space alien lol. Good view from this guy Interview 9: great points Interview 10: great perspective showing all walks are generally on the same page and know the good stuff. Im sure you will cut in bytes from Abbot (texas governor) Love the content stay safe

Thomas McClellan

Thanks for doing what you do boys, stay safe <3

Jonathon Angell

Holy shit, you actually cracked the code.

Stop ASMR

Based old man with the yellow sign. Love your work.

Dustin

FatBaby ButcherBitches

E C

Sad/funny thing is a lot of people feel that way. Teachers in Wyoming don't have to disclose whether they have a fire arm. Zero red flag laws there.

E C

I don't know, he's heavily invested in pillow box futures. Might be loaded.

DrankDropea76

Glad Andrew found the lunatics and idiots on both sides of the argument on day 1!

Alan Kahn

Yeah I keep picturing my colleagues strapped and can only imagine the chaos that would ensue - we're always leaving our keys and phones in the bathroom or in the classroom when we need to go to the bathroom. Add again to that mix? Shiiiiiiiiiiit....

Dustin

I agree with you, its sad. But I think social media and echo chambers (on both sides) is also a bigger aspect. These issues have always been around since we've been a country, but because of the media, social media, etc, every disagreement becomes a political debate without ever trying to have mutual respect or conversation. Except for Channel 5. Peace.

Nathan Taylor

I'm just glad to be here for the ride lol

Nathan Taylor

Fat Baby Butcher Bitches for liiiiife

Desmond Hawkins

It did sound like ADP, but I'm pretty sure he's talking about EDP as in EDP445. He's a YouTuber who was caught by this big dude in a "catch a predator"-style sting where he thought he was going to meet up with a 13 year old girl he had been talking to online.

Val Dewar

Big agree

Sarah Salazar

Love the video Andrew, so 'surprised' to see that transphobic piece of shit Alex there... 'the guy who caught EDP'... but keep up the good work guys, love the videos

Dirty Larry

While I am very proud of the fact my little monthly contribution here on Patreon helps to fund these videos, these videos also depress the hell out of me at the same time as they do very much illustrate the fact the simple truth of the situation is there are just too many opinions and sides for us as Americans to ever come to any reasonable agreement about anything. The TLDR version: We are doomed and Andrew and crew are documenting the downfall of American Civilization.

TK

Looking good Andrew

Lauren Elise

imagine coercing teachers (who are already underpaid) with money to own guns. that's wild.

G-Slick

The opening interview was solid. Those are some smart kids

Warren McCarthy

Great job you guys.

Chris

It's also wild that they always act like these kids are in this crazy criminal mindset, Salvador and most mass shooters only do what they do because it's easy, the black market would scare them off or at least greatly delay them AND HAVE POTENTIAL TO CATCH THEM BEFORE THE CRIME. Knives and other weapons exist, but if you look at most of these people, they wouldn't be in these situations without the ease of access to a gun lol. Hell, I have my medical card and I'm legally not allowed to own a gun, yet, my AR sits beside me because my card lapsed for a week and I bought it during that timeframe lol. I've also been on medications for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and mood stabilizers for extreme lows, I felt like most of my medications were unnecessary (I've been off of them for 3 years), but it's kind of fucking wild to think that someone of the opposite temperament (my bipolar is mostly depressive states and highs of happiness, not so much anger) on the same medication could just easily get a gun if they wanted. Anyone saying our background checks are enough is in denial.

Chris

That guy who 'caught' EDP was also 'caught' doing the exact same shit with an undercover officer pretending to be a teenager. The dude is legitimately weird and I fucking KNEW I recognized him, of course, his take is also stupid.

Mark

Who is ADP in Houston?

Dutch Van Der Linde

I decided to look up how many single family households there were in America, America does have the highest with 23% but the UK is right behind with 21% and they dont seem to have to same issue so i guess he needs to go back to the drawing board on that one

Jennifer

I saw a dude in the wild with a dingy channel 5 shirt on so you know he's had it awhile, at the Cali Roots festival in Monterey.

Wyatt Strohm

Great stuff as always. Crosswalk guy can pound pavement.

Keir Nuttall

Yes, it really sets Ch5 apart from a lot of typical coverage of this stuff. Despite the extreme polarisation of views you get to see an actual common thread of humanity running through it. Normal coverage of stuff like this just finds the responses that fitsneatly into the two tribal narratives rather than giving us an on the ground view of the diversity of opinions. On regular news Pillow Guy and Crosswalk Guy would be indistinguishable. Have to say the Antifa guy just nailed it.

David O

Shoutout to Fat Baby Butcher Bitches

ALX.V

How does the Antifa dude NOT want to be squared up to fight the cops

Gray Crawford

awesome edit ✨ showing Andrew’s followup question in the sunglasses reflection

jordie

guy in the red.. one of the most unbearable humans on the planet.

Sean Davis

13:25 "That sucks dude." lmao

Jenna

If they ban guns and cutlery, Americans are just going to start killing each other with uncooked spaghetti, so you might as well increase the amount of guns until all murderers die as a result of being crushed by gun avalanches.

Piper N Mettenburg

this really made me not wanna teach tomorrow lmao

onevermind

the "they'd do it with a knife" defense is the worst argument for an AR15 massacre; what instrument throws 400 knifes a minute? fucking dense.

Pepega

As a european I find this topic highly interesting and I am always amazed at how easily Andrew gets people to freely share their opinions. Keep up the good work!

Skylar

Pillow guy is hilarious. Kinda wish you had found more guys like him but the level-headed conversations are nice too I guess lol

Dongler

Wow a lot of very reasonable people at this event. Not everyone hits the mark 100% of the time but none of us have the correct answer

Ryan Stiltz

Breaking Points did some segments recently talking about how the background checks process has gaps because of organizations like the FBI not updating their databases used for background checks.

Matt Brummett

Dude the guy with the green hat is so convinced that his perfect regurgitation of all the fox news gun talking points is his own, self-formed opinion.

Joost Nootenboom
