I feel your pain. My Hyundai got stolen out of my apartment parking lot last year a week after I moved in. They found it towed in the next city over, thank god. Nothing was stolen out of it and it was mostly intact, besides the steering wheel, so it was likely some punk ass kids who watched a TikTok video. It cost me $1700 to get the steering wheel fixed. A lot of people don’t have access to that kind of money on hand, and these kids don’t understand the suffering they are causing with their little joy rides.

My Kia got stolen from kids watching these videos and wanting to try this. I didn’t have a car for a month and missed work because of it. Luckily I have friends that helped me with rides until I could get a new car. But if I wasn’t as lucky, I would have lost my job and then my apartment. People depend on there vehicles to put food on their table. These kids need to realize that their fun little joy ride could put someone on the streets, if they already haven’t already.
