Andrew thank you for reporting on this issue. I am a fed and we honestly have no fucking clue what's gonna happen next. I think the right base just wants to scapegoat gov employees because they feel like everything is shit right now (it is) and the cause is corrupt gov employees, when really it's the billionaires milking whatever is left of the middle class. What I really don't understand is why congressional Republicans don't stand up to Trump now that he won. Like maybe they are just waiting for the massive tax cut first but at some point they gotta think about what's gonna happen in 4 years when the government fails daily to provide basic services and their party collapses because Trump can't run again.

They didn't want to accept my protective orders when my ex husband was stalking/attacking me at work & breaking into my coworkers homes. They discriminated against employees (especially women) of color, they would cut and paste my signature into official government records, when this was reported to the IG it was not investigated. I have spent 4 years fighting with them through various court proceedings (w/o legal counsel) & it goes nowhere. They behaved above the law and I hope a new system can be built based on ethics and humanity vs. nepotism and class structure

Two things can exist: 1. Federal Government programs can be both wasteful and useful, or fraudulent and necessary 2. Billionaires should not have access to the entire federal government, where they can define what "waste" is for themselves
