This is happening in horse racing , I think it would be an interesting opportunity for you. There is a population of migrant immigrant workers that live at the track, mental health issues, all kinds of interesting stuff. Would love to have you out as a guest to show you what's going on. Great stuff your doing for society.

Would love to see the next episodes!

Where are parts 2 and 3? I was looking forward to the rest of this. Part 1 was great.
Derek G. Bolton
Small correction, Wheeling is along i70 rather than i75. Hoping we get the rest of this story soon!

Thought this was about the bus line and a little disappointed. I think dogs love to run though. Nice video.

You fellas going to check out the drones in NJ?

WHEELING WV resident my brother hit me up if you come back

Bro if he was giving his dog's chooch they would be dying of fentanyl like all the homies. Meth would be believable but what a waste of cocaine that would be
bigchiefcrazysmoke
It amazes me with all we have going on in the world, people are going to worry about dogs and rabbits. I'll donate money to the spca as soon as there are no more kids in cancer wards and St Judes shuts down.

Where is part 3 of Israel-Lebanon War?!?!?!?

Awesome content as always. Never ever thought I would be interested in West Virginia or even hear about this racing culture

I’ve been to the Orange Park track they cited in the cocaine investigation section. Horrible place. Glad it shut down for the animals sake and the people working there. Nobody looked particularly happy to be there—no sad music required.

really interesting topic! I never heard of greyhound racing. im glad your covering it

You couldn’t be more disingenuous than the fake activist grifters that call themselves Grey2K. Truly, the banality of evil - pretend to care about something (like animals), but in practice just enrich themselves and hurt everyone around them, dogs especially, by lying and manipulating.

As a West Virginian I approve this message. Our dogs are of good health and home.

As a West Virginian I do not approve this message

Great video! I really appreciate the non-biased view you have that allows the viewers to draw their own conclusions. I feel like Steve was very genuine and a good dog owner, but I'm not sure how common that is in the Greyhound racing industry. However a counter point to that is why would they treat their race dogs horribly, wouldn't they want them to be healthy and strong to win said races? Looking forward to the next 2 parts, Keep up the great work!

Regardless if he's taking good care of his dogs, I don't trust everyone else involved in the scene to do the same. Animal racing should end just as animals in circus is ending.

Would cocaine actually help a racing dog's performance? That whole claim is super sus. If the claims of 70+ deaths per year is accurate, then that's a problem. But dog racing isn't inherently _bad_ for the dogs. It's the trainers and the breeding that comes out as a result that can have negative consequence. I think with proper regulations this industry could be totally humane.

Owner of 2 retired racing hounds from FL. Many greyhoud activist groups are pro racing. It needs to be heavily regulated and monitored of course - but these dogs LOVE to run. It also is a great life for most dogs. They race and live among their friends until 2-3 years then get adopted by a loving family. In FL virtually no greyhounds went unadopted. Dogs in animal shelters are in much greater need than greyhounds who live at kennels or dog tracks. The activists are liars and give off PETA vibes. Ultimately racing will be extinct soon though, it’s a shame. Retired racers make for the best dogs

I have working malamute Canadian Inuit dogs on chain tethers. Waiting to sled. All 7 have direct dealistivds I know of mismanaged in house and bite human, child or harm a dog because they're resource agressive. They chill out a lot you get them to pull a few hours a day. I had a pent up rehome one kill a smaller Alaska husky. I got a female who's mom put down bit a kid badly. Pent up mismanaged no work or purpose

As an owner of 2 retired Greyhounds, this is an important topic for me and thus joined the Patreon. Love your coverage.

Every part of this video was incredibly surreal. The weird scripted vibe both sides had, the fact the whole feud feels so personal and has been going on for so goddamn long. I thought Blunderfield was as crazy as it could get😭Brockton always fights back babyy
Matthew
brain dead analogy lol
Zain Khan
Upkeep would cost a lot of money, only someone who appreciates the animals for what they were bred to do would undertake that cost
Chris
Came here to say the same very interesting wish this was covered more
jamie medley
Super interesting stuff. Still loads of greyhound racing over here in the UK.
Snarpsta
Kind of shitty way to train, no?
Pat
Shocked to find myself siding against the activists here. That lady said “it’s quite a foolish idea because greyhounds are the second fastest animal on earth. They don’t really need to be tricked into racing faster.” Human beings are the best animal on earth at playing basketball. They don’t really need to practice free throws. I can see why these people haven’t gotten the races banned

You gotta start posting all
Cameron Fields
fam I subscribed today and we all support and want these videos you need to start pumping all parts out all at once asap instead of making everyone wait and only posting sometimes shit make it 20 dollars for all we care my nigga start posting it try to make sure it’s long as possible your good real unbiased fire content
Jack Shufelt
if we're lucky enough to even see those parts lol
Floodo1
It’s not. Imagine making your living off of gambling on domesticated animals
Floodo1
Imagine choosing to earn your living by making money off gambling on dogs. So you keep scores of them in wire fence pens.

Wow , a dog chasing a rabbit ... not in MY America 🙄

I have more questions. Steve claims the samples were human urine, but he also claims that he's never seen cocaine before. Not taking sides here, but I'm hoping part 2 or 3 investigates the UC Davis and Texas A&M Labratory results.
DW
Steve's greyhounds genuinely appear happy. A bit too happy...
Michael Stegemann
The Greyhound2K couple seem shady. The cocaine test actually being human urine was too weird.
Dragoonz
It's because people have dogs as pets, but is not different, is the same question of eating cow and not dogs. I'm not saying I will do any of that, or agree with any of that. Just putting the points of view to see the hypocrisy.
cale williams
it’s not. both are cruel and inhumane to the animals involved
cloudy
She said "second fastest animal on earth" tho. That's the Cheetah
Niek Nijland
How is this different from horse racing which is legal in most states?
Aubrey Whitten
Thanks for covering this. It is a fascinating topic for someone running a nonprofit rescue organization.
Jake Lake
Cheetah is the fastest land animal. Not the second fastest. Greyhounds look like they are top 10 though. Lol
Brian Stover
These people against the greyhounds seem like they are doing all of this for some form of political gain rather than any humanity. Greyhound owner seems like he cares for these animals though we all know there is probably some form of inhumanity in what he does. Polarizing views and I don’t know which is right.
Llllleeeee
Anytime a dude like Steve starts spinning a yarn like that is a big red flag… over explaining as obfuscation is all it is.
cloudy
Lol greyhounds are NOT the second fastest animal on earth. The Cheetah is. I can't tell if she's lying, clueless, or just misspoke and meant to say dog
DW
Wondering the same thing. Maybe it needs to be edited on account of the ceasefire and Hezbollah being deployed to Syria?

It's hard to know who to root for when the reporting doesn't pick for you.

America loves tabloids and snake oil. Also a goodol' lawsuit ... you could be another face that I forget soon as I move along Everybody makes mistakes Am I mistaken for the way I carry on? You could show a little grace, but maybe things just went a bit too far We are just who we are No time for "what if"s and "what if not"s...
