Typical: When Andrew asks what happens to violent criminals who are a danger to society, Janet dodges the question, and busts out the, “It’s such a small number.” Tell that to someone whose child is kidnapped and murdered. History shows that when you remove the threat of prison, the numbers don’t stay small. Also, the idea that you can eliminate crime by dedicating enough resources to make everyone productive members of society is wrong. Some people are high in aggression and low in sociability by temperament. Good luck with this dumb plan.

Great interview, really informative. Very knowledgeable guest, good questions and additions from Andrew, I really learned something! One question/observation tho. I like the picture/illustration game, images are often well chosen and add info or some comedic relief. But sometimes, at least for me, I can not clearly identify if a picture is actual real stuff relating directly to what is being said or if its just some stock image of something vaguely related or if its even something completely fictional and more of a joke. I don’t want the joke images to go away by any means, I think its nice. But I do feel queasy sometimes about not knowing which is which. On the other hand, I know putting up an explicit “comedy” sign or whatever is kinda lame. But maybe you 5ers could come up with a nifty solution that would help old guys like myself not to feel too disoriented. Anyway, 5 remains the best number. Burn boss!
