Used to play in the wash (same wash is now the 170 Hollywood Freeway). Near Chandler by the North Hollywood park. Hobos were always nice, never any fear of them, I was around 8, back in the 50’s!

First, I am a huge fan and legit love the work you do but… Please do not expose this culture to the masses. I’ve been a lifelong train hopper and graffiti writer and these subcultures have been DEVASTATED by mass communication and the proliferation of the information about these cultures. It’s incredibly detrimental and I genuinely can barely take it anymore. Sometimes it is best left to the shadows. You are just making it harder. This isn’t a game and the more info there is out there about what we do, the more unnecessarily dangerous it becomes.
