Man, just wanted to send love and props. Been a fan for a good 5 or so years of your hour/half hour YouTube videos, but you've been turning it up more and more and it's nice to see. Congrats on success and respect for the hard work. Continue to stand your ground when people try to put you down. Anyway, I enjoy the rap stuff and it's nice to see you trying other things. But I am definitely here for the hard-core rap documentarian and I just wanna say that I understand you wanting to do shorter stuff, but I'm here for all of it lol. I enjoy the long form content just as much as the medium length, or even the short videos. Why not a mixture of everything? Balance is the key to life, as they say. Long form isn't for everyone, especially in this day and age, but I think doing just 2 or 3 extra long ones a year is good, while balancing the rest between quick (10-30 minutes), short (30-60 minutes), and medium (60-180 minutes). Those are arbitrary lengths, but you get the idea. Save the 3 hour plus vids for rare occasions and it'll hit even better, in my opinion. Keep doing the damn thang TLR!

I’ve been waiting for you to do a deep dive on 600. My only criticism is that it’s been said by several members of 600 that Lil Steve WAS NOT 600. He hung with them and was affiliated with them, but he wasn’t a member. You made sure to mention Jizzle was an affiliate, and you should have done that with Steve, too. I have seen Tay say that he tried to flip him and Steve wasn’t having any of that. He’s originally from The (Wild Wild) One Hundreds and never became an official 600 member. They loved him because he hung tight with them. You have all these clips from Tay’s lives, so you know that he did a whole video about Lil Steve and he said it in that live as well as interviews when asked about him. Otherwise, spectacular work! I think this is the first time I’ve ever had something even remotely close to being negative to say about any of your work. And I’ve watched everything on all your channels, and your research is impeccable.

Chicago is big, but the Southside is small if that makes sense. You have your family in different neighborhoods so you know about what’s going on in those areas simply by going to your grandparents’ house for the weekend and listening to the older cousins, aunts and uncles talking about what’s going on over a game of spades when you’re a child. Then you’re spending time with your cousins and you go outside and see what’s happening yourself. As well as the internet! These kids were teenagers when Twitter was the platform where everyone was talking to each other about who did what. I know you see how many tweets are in Chicago documentaries no matter who they’re about. It’s not hard for even a square to know everything that’s going on in the streets because “the streets are talking” is a very real thing. And that’s from someone who has never been involved in street activities but I knew everything happening in Chicago because of my family and friends. And that was in the 90s before social media. I’m from Chicago and spent my summers, Christmas break and Spring break there with family but I didn’t even live there anymore and I still knew everything that was going on. So imagine what you can find out living there with the internet.
