On Anakin in episode 3, it always bothered me that Palpatine told him "hey I have the power to save your wife" then later Mace Windu shows up with two guards who Palpatine murders- Anakin has to step over their corpses to enter the room and then hear Palpatine's defense that he is "defenseless". Then immediately after Mace Windu "dIeS" Palpatine says "oh wait no I don't have the power uh.... Yet to save your wife" like wtf Anakin
