Side note, and Alex can ignore this: It's actually interesting to see how the success of Daredevil/Punisher changed Agents Of SHIELD in later seasons. It's no coincidence that S4 went a bit darker after the 1st few seasons of the Netflix shows took off.

That's not really very accurate. Netflix was the distributor, but the show was produced by ABC Studios/Marvel Television.

Not true. Daredevil and all the other ‘Netflix’ shows were made by Marvel Television/ABC studios. Technically not Marvel STUDIOS, but still Marvel. Netflix just paid for the exclusive streaming rights, which recently expired.

Technically speaking, Netflix didn't 'make' this... it was done by ABC Studios/Marvel Television, same production studio that did Agents Of SHIELD, Agent Carter, among a few other things. Netflix just wound up being the ones who got the streaming rights to a handful of the shows, and those shows were the ones that wouldn't have flown on ABC prime time haha.

In regards to "Marvel doesn't get dark", this series was made by Netflix with a little help from Marvel. The MCU you have enjoyed up until now has been 100% Marvel, and a different team. Those who worked on the Netflix series largely did not work on the MCU.
