Eh, I disagree with you. I mean I get what you're saying, but at the same time- this was simply an introduction for Frank. Frank isn't a "daredevil" character, he's his own entity. They have to leave some of the things i'm sure you're looking for, for The Punisher, lol. In regards to The Hand, I think the reason you weren't so invested within it, is because you weren't meant to be. I think it was meant to be something that sneaks up on you but ultimately is a preparation for The Defenders. Everything is done with a continuum in mind, you have to think of it that way. Its not the final season, its a progression into obviously yes S3 of Daredevil, but also into "The Punisher," and "The Defenders." ALEX, WHERE IS S3 AND THE PUNISHER?? WE NEED ITTTTT

Hell, I'd just go straight to The Punisher. I know there's a lot of talk about what order everything is in, but that character is so iconic and intriguing on his own that he overpowers all other considerations. ...imho

Season 1 is fantastic, the beginning of season 2 is great but the rest isn't as engaging, season 3 though? Best of the three. It's a near perfect season.

Just finished watching and yeah, I've got to say that I really preferred season one to two. It's my favorite of the three. Don't get me wrong though, I friggin' loved Frank in this season (and I'm stoked as hell for The Punisher) but I don't know, this season just didn't have as deep of an emotional impact for me. Watching this season is fun - sure, but I don't get pulled in nearly as deep.

So, with this season...i agree, it wasn't as 'intact' as season 1, but enjoyable all the same. However, the ending was done more as a set-up of what's to come. Frank's story continues in his Punisher series, and that 'micro' disc will make more sense....and 'The Hand/Elektra/DD' story continues in the Defenders series (its only one season)...of which the ending in Defenders ties into or continues into DD3. So basically you cant watch DD3 without first watching Defenders, otherwise Matt's story wont make sense cuz he's a little diffrerent in those first few episodes. However, once you watch Daredevil 3 you'll see why its most people's (including me) favorite. :)

So with these original Netflix series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, etc) they're building up to a series called The Defenders. That's where you see The Hand and they're plan. It's like a mini mcu.

Is it just me or is the show super out of sync with the video? I think the videos like 10 seconds off. lol, really irritating, considering this is the finale for this season.

Not sure if you’ve ever got into teenage mutant ninja turtles, but they’re based off of daredevil. Matt fights the hand, the turtles fight the foot, Matt’s father figure is stick, the turtles is splinter, and there’s plenty more. With that being said you should check out 1990 teenage mutant ninja turtles, it’s so good even today.

I think the problems with this season is that the Punisher was much more interesting part of the season and I don't even mind the inclusion of Elektra but the hand just wasn't it. The Hand was set up for the Defenders show. Also, there is another reason that the Hand wasn't as strong as a villain as they could have been. Jeff Loeb the head and producer of the marvel netflix shows is very racist. And said ,"Nobody cares about asian characters" Hence why the Hand a predominantly asian group of villains seem shallow in depth compared to Frank Castle or Elektra.

I think, and this is just my opinion, the reason that the end of season 2 is so weak compared to the end of season 1 is that the latter part of season 2 is so much set-up for The Defenders, which is basically Daredevil Season 2.5 (as one person in another comment phrased it). I mean, it's good, but the ending feels a little TOO loose from a story structure viewpoint, like it could have been tighter/punchier, but I think the writers were too busy worrying about setting up for The Defenders and they let a few things slide a little too much (something all of us writers are guilty of sometimes when writing series!).

if he doesn't continue with the Netflix he should definitely start Agents of Shield..he would love everything about it and its one of the best if not the best Marvel Tv series ..lets keep marvel mondays going at all costs
