Alex I can 100% forgive the Grevious and Dooku mix up but I can not forgive you not know R2 can fly! xD That little droid had a whole scene in Attack of The Clones where he flies around the droid making factory saving everyone's asses! And you slept on that! My dude.. R2 gets overlooked enough! I only watched these for the first time a couple years ago and the amount of meaningful themes and just quality storylines throughout really got me hooked. The later seasons in particular are outstanding. Captain Rex quickly became a standout character for me and I hope you get to love him too!

Funfact, because this had a theatrical release, the actors that voiced Mace Windu, Palpatine, and Dooku, were the same as the live action. So that's actually Samual J lol Also, this originally were going to be their first couple episodes of the show, but Lucas decided to combine them and release them as a movie.

I really really REALLY wish we could hear the audio. Especially since I like to listen to these almost like a podcast while I'm at work, and I prefer the YouTube uploads more cuz we can hear the audio from show/movie, etc.

Bad badge was okay in my opinion. I don't consider it a necessary watch like the Asoka show or the one about Cassian. A soccer seems like rebels season but in live action. Which isn't necessarily that bad, but I lost interest after the first couple episodes

As others have probably already mentioned, the reason for watching those two other episodes is they set up this one. The first season of clone wars is okay, but it really starts to get very linear and the stories follow on each other in season 2 moving forward.

The series does indeed get SOO much better as you watch it! After watching Clone Wars which may take awhile, you should def check out Star Wars Rebels and/or The Bad Batch!

It would make syncing hard for sure. For the amount he talks and looks away from the screen though, pausing or something's gotta be done because a lot of dialogue is being inevitably missed and that starts to add up quickly

In complete honesty, I was sad that you started the Clone Wars before finishing all the films. But I’m also excited for your journey through this series! It has some really great moments and lays the ground work for a lot of the later series. And to answer the question on your last video, I definitely would’ve preferred a live action Clone Wars. It was totally not feasible at the time but it would’ve meant we had Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison instead of wish.com Obi-Wan and clones 😂 terrible accents.

if you're happy with the animation now, i can't wait for you to see what it looks like in the later seasons. the final arc of clone wars is probably one of my favorite pieces of Star Wars content ever, and it's got genuinely cinematic-level art and animation. but there's still so much to love in this show even from the beginning, and Ashoka quickly became one of my most favorite Star Wars characters of all time. super excited to see your clone wars journey!
