The holy hand grenade is also in Fallout 2 and New Vegas. The Fallout games, Fallout 2 in particular has tons of references from this movie. You can come across the bridge and the guardian, there is a random encounter with Brotherhood of Steel paladins fighting a incredibly fierce rat, just to mention a few.

You might enjoy watching a compilation of Monty Python Flying Circus. It's this crew doing short skits. I don't find all of them funny, but I have seen collections of people's favorites and they are very funny and quotable.

It is rare to hear someone say that for sure. So glad to meet you Matthew! I think it's the most ridiculous in it's humor and that is my thing. I'm not a huge stupid funny fan or even slapstick, but you get something that's funny because it's so ridiculous and I'm in my happy place. Why is it your favorite? Just curious?

So back when movies this old came out theyd play all the credits at the beginning, and when the movie was over itd just be music as everyone was leaving. Love how you just sat there and listened to the whole thing 😂

1) they had no idea how to end it hence the “ending” 2) all the credits were at the beginning so that’s why it was just a black screen 😂 3) he was arrested for killing the historian and that old lady was likely the wife of the historian

The other Monty aputhon Movies are pretty good too. A lot of people like "The Life of Brian", but my personal favorite it "The Meaning of Life". I still randomlu start singing "every sperm is sacred" and then start giggling. I can't remember if you've seen it already, but if yiu haven't you would absolutely love "Blazing Saddles". It was so much fun watching your unfiltered reactions and confusion during this movie.

I just wanna say for the record, the “I shall fart in your general direction” was so funny for me it has become an inside joke for me and many people in my family. So for you to find it that funny too that you’d say that to your friend on camera makes it all the worth while better

My favorite line that I quote on a weekly basis is when the Frenchman says, "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elder berries." It's also really funny how for the ending, they ran out of budget and couldn't afford the fight scene, so they have a literal cop out.

What one needs to consider about Monty Python when watching this is that they were basically a sketch comedy group. There movies are basically just a bunch of comedy sketches. There is a very very very thin plot in the movies but they are basically irrelevant.
